“for value, I rated Herradra Legend an 8 "excellent." That rating is bases on the cost I paid of $115+tax at Total Wine and more. I have seen this as high as $200. Don't pay 200 for it. It's excellent at 130 or less.”

“A friend and coworker gave me my 1st bottle of this. It's made by his family. I loved it and have purchased many bottles since. I enjoy it neat or on ice, depending on my mood. This is the price point that I normally buy for a quality tequila (around $150). It's maybe not the best I have had but it's the one I drink the most. It's also the one I usually compare others to. It's very much like Herradura Legend but I think the Legend is a bit smoother on the swallow.”

“You can't buy Cali Fino here on the east coast you must order it directly from them. A friend from California gave me a bottle of the Extra Anejo and I was hooked and ordered more plus this Anejo. If I drank Tequila straight daily like a glass to relax each night. this would be the one I would drink. it is excellent for the price. And I'd save my better stuff for a once a week drink. I have not mixed this with anything as I usually do that with cheaper stuff. but in the right drink I believe it would add a nice flavor. I like to drink it on the rocks or sometimes neat.”

“It's a simple silver with nothing really going on in it. it's inexpensive but I'll pay the little more for Don Julio Blanco if I wish to drink a silver. I don't see it add any value to a mixed drink instead I would go with the Cuervo gold in it's place.”

“Silvers are my least favorite tequila, so it's not surprising that I'm not a big fan of this one. But they ran a package set a few years ago, and i was gifted a bunch of it by family and friends. As a straight drink ( neat or on ice) I don't care for it. However it does mix well in soda. I drank most of it in coke, gingerale, or 7up, and it's good that way. It also mixes well in margaritas. It mixed well with Jose Cuervo gold in a few margaritas also. I'm sure it would work with others, but I haven't tried it.”

“I'll say upfront that Blanco (silver) is my least favorite tequila, and I don't often drink them. That said I like this one. It's rough, I referred to it as fire water or jet fuel as it has a strong bite to it. It's a preference for me if I do a shot with someone. For some reason, I can't explain. I also like it with baked scallops. I haven't mixed it with anything, but in mixed drinks I believe it would work well, especially with other tequilas or liquors that are milder in burn but flavorful.”

“it's my opinion that this is possibly the best overall tequila on the market. It's not by any means a top shelf tequila, but it is usable in any situation. It is drinkable neet or on ice, but shines best as a mixer. It goes well in anything you can imagine and believe me I hace put it I'm many, many things even my kombucha. It also blends well in drinks like margaritas when mixed with other tequila. (not all tequilas play well with each other) It's also cheap by comparison to most others. And when you have guests that are not refined tequila drinkers and just want to do shots it's perfect to keep them out of the good stuff.”
