Anejo this is an old teardrop bottle that we've had for several years (2015ish?) AQ 9223, L3010= nose: caramel, cinnamon, butterscotch anise a little fruit citrus pepper, barrel notes. taste: nutty oak, agave, cinnamon, barrel spices, sweet pepper. Medium/long finish with warmth, dry

Oak, butterscotch, vanilla, alcohol, agave and caramel. Sweet start to finish. Decent sipper, with hints of black pepper at the end
Finally enough oak to overcome the average effort on the Blanco, not anything unique or special, just tasty

Round agave caramel nose with a touch of citrus. Sweet nutty flavors, bordering on too sweet for me. Nice mouth feel. Medium long finish with bitter sweet heat. Edited 5/6/2018. I am giving this an upward nudge after another tasting.
Letter L añejo. Great aromas of leather and spice that become roast agave and oak spice in the mouth ending with a moderate length bittersweet finish.
Flan, peppercorn, nutmeg
Woody, smokey and a strong pepper flavor. Yet with a sweeter finish. Very strong flavors that do not play together well Nothing worked for me with this one.
Nose is extremely sugary sweet. Dark amber in color. Full bodied and a long finish.

NOM 1127 | Smooth sipper.
Round bottle acquired on June 2019. Color: very light yellow. Aroma: cooked agave, vanilla, herbaceous, slightly acidic, slightly dry. Palate: cooked agave, slightly green, light vanilla, not complex and feels thin maybe because I tasted this right after the Chinaco XA. Finish is medium, cooked agave and light vanilla notes persist.

***Let it breathe before tasting it*** Aroma / Nose: oak, cooked agave, vanilla, honey, butterscotch, alcohol. Flavor: oak, vanilla, honey, smooth agave, followed by alcohol and water. Finish: smooth non-burning oak/agave aftertaste that stays with you. Opinion: smooth and different from Tamaulipas some how “watery”. Worth trying it if you can find it.
Taste of agave, subtle hint of caramel, spices, and vanilla, decently smooth with little aftertaste.
Not much on the nose, earthy agave and pepper. Very peppery on the taste. Nice and clean Anejo taste but not for me as I prefer vanilla and caramel. Not bad, overall. A bit too subtle.
A vintage bottle, pear shaped , Gonzalez era imported by Denton, then Fielding Jones. This stuff is legendary , rare, worth any cost . Nothing , tastes or smells like this . Wow, omg, so very unique . They sure don’t make it like this anymore.
