Sharp blast of alcohol on the initial aroma followed by relatively reserved notes of cherry, citrus and some oak. Much more flavorful than the blanco. A nice, sweet bite in the flavor that shows fruit, a fresh agave grassiness and subtle oak. The finish lingers for a moderate time. An enjoyable repo that is a noticeable step up from the blanco. 06/18/2017 (vertical tasting)

Aroma of baked apple, agave, oak and spice. Flavors of sweet apple and cinnamon mixed with clove and oak. Medium body with a pleasant oily finish.

This wasn’t bad. I feel like it was smooth, but the añejo is probably better to get more woodiness and shave off the heat.

Aroma of alcohol and sweetness with a hint of agave. The taste and finish are a mix of pepper and sweetness and alcohol. This is a jumbled mess. Yuck. Occasionally we need a reminder of poorly executed juice is like.

Such a strange tasting tequila. How did this make it on Spirits Direct at Total?

The aroma of tequila is absent here, in fact there’s no aroma at all. The flavor is nearly absent too. Lightly sweet with no punch of alcohol. I suspect if you make a margarita with Arrogante it will taste like lime juice with a salted rim.

Strange, unpleasant scent. Like Entenmann's powdered donuts but not sweet. Chemical scent similar to acetone. Maybe some green wood or tree leaves in there too. Different flavor as well but much better than the aroma would suggest. Almost no detectable alcohol. Poor finish. Just gets worse as it develops. Maybe I got a bad bottle?

Aroma: Spice, astringent, wood, pine. Taste: bitter, pine, no agave flavor, undertones of paint thinner and soap.
