“I can’t disagree with other comments left where it’s more medicinal tasting than tequila. Didn’t taste any cherry cough syrup but it might have made it better. ”

“Vanilla on the nose but no vanilla flavor. I didn’t find this overly smoky like others have. The finish is short but that’s a good thing here. Wasn’t too impressed ”

“It comes as advertised. Definitely has both the cucumber and jalapeño. If your in the mood for something other than tequila but love tequila this will fool your senses. I’m 50/50 on how I feel about this. It’s not tequila to me but still refreshing. I agree this would make a great mixed drink but not a sipper. Final note: worth a try ”

“Not a fan of this one. Too much heat and a chemical aftertaste. Even though it’s certified additive free it doesn’t taste right to me. ”

“Smells like oatmeal with a little maple syrup. Has none of that flavor though. A bit heavy on the flavor that tastes a bit like papery if that’s a thing. Overall it just ok. ”

“For still strength it is surprisingly smooth up front with a little bite on the backside. Heats up the face a little worth a try. ”

“Very light on the aroma, in fact hard to tell it was a tequila. Flavor is very peppery and heat forward but short lived. Finish is decent”

“The worst travesty of all time! I am appalled. This pains me because I have the Anejo in my regular rotation because it is a solid tequila at a great price. Usually around 39$. This bottle was 95$ and the only extra to this was the price! Save the money and buy the regular anejo, I’m still wondering how we jumped 50$ up and the quality went into the abyss. The only reason I tried this was purely by accident because I grabbed the wrong bottle of the shelf. ”

“This is one I wish I would have checked the reviews on before purchasing. Those of you who actually wrote tasting notes thank you you were very spot on. The chemical notes from aroma to flavor to aftertaste are abundant. I could not place the odd smell on the nose until I read Grover’s assessment. Green Apple? Yes! They should add extra Jolly Rancher candy to each bottle. Use a chaser on this one. ”

“Complete garbage!! Seriously no redeeming factors whatsoever ever. I will not buy or recommend this tequila. I would have thought this was a blanco if blind tasting. ”

“Let’s start with the price! I payed 28$ for this, I wasn’t expecting much from it, but I was completely surprised. From the start just popping the cork the aroma was both caramel and vanilla. I liked it right from the start. It’s smooth and very flavorful. I will buy this again. As a test I asked my wife to try it, she’s a rum drinker not so much a tequila drinker. End result she said it was like a light tequila, I thought this was a good answer.”

“Sweet on the nose and flavor. Too sweet for most but I enjoy a good “dessert” tequila. I would compare this to Cava de Oro just half the price. ”

“Smooth and flavorful to start but the finish has a strange plastic taste to it. For the price it’s a very fine tequila but I just can’t see myself sipping this from a snifter glass. Perfect for a shooter and chaser to get rid of that weird aftertaste ”

“First off I really bought this for the metal skull top, it will make an awesome stick shift knob. I was Leary to try it because of the bottle covering and packaging. Sometimes there’s more effort in marketing than the contents inside! So I admit I’m pleasantly surprised by the tequila. Smooth and flavorful upfront that transitions into a little bite that usually comes first. All in all I liked it enough to go back and buy the Anejo. ”

“Heavy on the alcohol scent wise but luckily it’s not upfront when tasting. Overall a very decent tequila but the reposado is the peak for me. ”
