This is an example of overly sweet tequila with no flavor profile of agave. It’s a thick additive laden tequila with bites of caramel, butterscotch, and maple syrup quality. Padre Azul reposado does not showcase the agave unfortunately.

NOM 1466 | Full of additives. Taste like it came out of a candy store. I will say it tastes better then it smells….but it’s a very low standard. This would be my comparison to good tequilas.

Too sugary and a bit overpriced for my liking, I could not decipher any agave note. The skull cap is pewter I think and makes for a nice collectible but I wouldn’t buy this again.

Very sweet with little agave character.

Really sweet. A oak influence, with strong notes of caramel, baking spices, and vanilla. While easy to drink, the agave character is muted, leaning more toward the barrel-driven side of the spectrum. Seems like it was made for people who like “sweet and smooth”

What is it with these heavy additive tequilas claiming Premium. This stuff is just bad. SUGAR SUGAR SUGAR and the price point is ridiculous.

NOM 1466 | If you dilute it with ice it’s not too bad, neat it’s sickly fake sweet and undrinkable. Cotton candy

NOM 1466 | Very smooth, lots of sweetness, weak finish.

NOM 1466 | Soft nose. Sweet, vanilla, caramel, maple, banana-bread, astringent. Medium-amber color. Nice medium-thick mouthfeel. Smooth, mild warmth. Strong vanilla, caramel maple notes. Sweet upfront with a peppery, cinnamon-spice finish that closes with a bit of artificial-sweetener aftertaste. But the bottle is very cool. :)

It leans sweet and probably has additives but it us good and brings people into tequila that swore it off. I have the same critique for all the expressions, which is the price is about 10-15$ too high. It is good and addictive just like addicivtivo!

A delicious tequila reposado, again very different chilled vs room temp. Smells like candy vanilla with a slight “paint thinner” aroma, but in a sexy way. Excellent mouthfeel and taste with a moderate hanging of flavor after the sip is done.

Additive Bomb. Vanilla and caramel on the nose and palate and not in a good way. With some imagination actual hints of black pepper on the palate. Agave somewhat noticable but definitely AFTER all the sweetness Horrendously overpriced (70€) If you like additive free tequilas you will hate this. If you’re new to tequila/and or enjoy the artificial sweetness you might like it (It’s pretty „smooooth“ :D) Only got this bottle because I am a Rammstein Fan and bought their Tequila but it is actually just Padre Azul Repo.

Sour citrus. Warm lingering finish $180

This one is such a letdown! sweet sweet super sweet, obviously glucose syrup and caramel additives. For its price and super premium lying marketing and lies. like really. Bottle is cool and that's it. sad story really Edit: this whole rating section is a joke, it is disgusting and if anyone rates this like its not that bad, clearly has no taste and a complete clown. it is really sad.

Tastes like artificial sweetener. Definite additives and sticky caramel-ness. Awesome cork though

There is a little agave on the nose; prominent oak and butterscotch. Unfortunately the flavour is sweet-- too sweet. An improvement on the Silver but can't get into the additive-heavy tequilas.

Sugar. Funky taste. You can call it tequila but its not.

I sampled this from a 50ml. This has a funky smell to me. Very sweet and tastes over manipulated. Leaves a strange aftertaste in the mouth.

Pungent mildewy socks aroma. Bold honey and caramel flavor that makes me cringe. Overpoweringly sweet but simultaneously harsh at the same time. Worst Tequila I’ve ever tasted. Couldn’t even finish a glass.
