“Heavenly nose: caramel, vanilla, French oak noticable. Incredibly sweet and „smooth“. It really smells like an actual fresh vanilla pod, it’s freaking incredible. The flavor is very complex, again the French oak comes through. Long finish, lots of the nose continues on the palate. Fantastic. Die Himmelstür geht auf. I paid 300€. It’s expensive. It just is. I don’t know if a tequila can be worth that, but if a tequila can be worth that, this is it. Value 7/10 I let it open up for a while, if you smell it right away you get a lot more of that French oak spice.”

“Fantastic just like the blanco! Nose: still lots of agave, vanilla, caramel, pepper Palate: everything continues here Slight bitter lingering afterwards Prefer it over Fortaleza repo”

“Excellent tequila! Nose: earth, minerals, agave, pepper Palate: minerality, vegetal notes, of course agave Nice peppery finish! Perfection execution of what a tequila should be! Nothing fancy, crazy or artificial here, just fantastic tequila”

“Agave, vegetal notes, minerality, earthiness on the nose Pretty much continues on the palate. Fantastic tequila, but only 6/10 value as it’s quite expensive where I live (imported)”

“Nom 1499 (old distillery): Used to be my favorite tequila, the bottle has been opened a while, so it declined a little, nonetheless absolutely fantastic. Nose: agave, beautiful floral note almost a little like bee pollen, lime peel, vanilla, buttery with something herbal beneath, vanilla and sweet floral notes getting stronger over time Palate: agave, butter, pepper, Citrus, a little fruity The buttery creamyness that all mijenta tequilas have makes this brand so incredible for me. Finish: white pepper, agave, pleasant ”

“Tried in a restaurant: Nose: sweet caramel, vanilla, little oak for me Palate: same thing, pleasant caramel, vanilla, little oaky, some agave behind it Agave not noticeably all too much in comparison to a Whiskey you would notice! ”

“Agave right in your face! Palate: agave, then pepper, then minerals The agave develops in your mouth as you get slight salinity and slight heat Amazing! When taking a larger sip I’m also definitely getting that pronounced olive people seem to notice.”

“Amazing nose: AMAZING caramel, vanilla, agave, floral and buttery notes Amazingness continues on the palate. Definitely worth trying!!! But it’s really expensive (220€) Nonetheless love the mijenta brand and all their expressions but the value here is only a 4/10”

“Nose is amazing, incredibly caramel notes (additive free), palate more dissapointing. Just not very complex, not a lot going on in comparison to for example artenom 1146. wouldn’t recommend cause of the high price (100€)”

“On the nose heavy agave, some vegetal notes and slight smoke. Palate is very easy going even though it’s 49%. Agave pepper vegetal notes. All in all good but wouldn’t recommend cause of the high price (80€)”

“On the nose agave, pepper vanilla, some caramel notes. Mores disappointing on the palate Comparing this with Fortaleza anejo makes this tequila seem bad. Wouldn’t recommend for the price (85€ in Germany), still a well made product I recommend spending a few more € and getting Fortaleza anejo or artenom 1146”

“NOM 1579 Nose: minerals, some earth, pepper, some vegetal notes with hints of grass and a very noticable brine note. Very unique and pleasant Palate: the palate in general is very clean: lots of agave, minerals, less earth for me than for most people I feel like, some vegetal notes, again heavy on the brine Nothing crazy but really nice, clean and pleasant. Got it for a really nice price so value 8/10 for me.”

“Nose: agave, citrus, pepper First thing that came to my mind was: fresh! Palate: simple -> some citrus, some pepper, hints of some buttery savoriness which is unfortunately interrupted by the very very unpleasant finish. Ethanol taste which can only remind me of vodka. Aftertaste slightly bitter, some of that pepper left. Value is incredibly though and would definitely recommend for mixing.”

“Very earthy on the nose and even more so on the palate. I am personally a big fan of that. Also some vegetal grass notes noticable 65€ in Germany value 7/10”

“Nose: agave, pepper, minerals, citrus, grass/vegetal/minty, some salty briny notes Palate: agave, heavy pepper, minerals, citrus, mint, vegetal, spearmint Overall quite nice although I think the finish was weird Started out very sweet, but that vanished so quickly couldn’t even say what it was and then became somewhat bitter. So nose and palate are definitely better on this one”

“Solid, affordable product, perfect for Cocktails as well as sipping neat. I regularly mix with this one. Quite peppery for a reposado, like that :) Not many equally good options for this price.”

“Additive Bomb. Vanilla and caramel on the nose and palate and not in a good way. With some imagination actual hints of black pepper on the palate. Agave somewhat noticable but definitely AFTER all the sweetness Horrendously overpriced (70€) If you like additive free tequilas you will hate this. If you’re new to tequila/and or enjoy the artificial sweetness you might like it (It’s pretty „smooooth“ :D) Only got this bottle because I am a Rammstein Fan and bought their Tequila but it is actually just Padre Azul Repo.”

“Rather strong notes of barrel spice, sorta pleasant to drink. At the end of the day it’s just a pretty bottle/conversation piece with some interesting but solid-ish juice inside of it. Buy as a gift or as decoration, otherwise not recommended.”

“Very palatable esp. for 108 proof which is really a lot for a tequila. Very peppery and some lasting citrus notes as well. Something to really enjoy, but not everyday :)”
