Cabo Wabo anejo Sample from Andy Yang Agave Swappers I'm liking this more than I thought i would. Nicely balanced. Barrel spice and fruit on the nose with a little alcohol. Barrel spices caramel and vanilla on the palate with a pepper fizz finish. Not overly oakie. color is much lighter than the photo here. lools like a repo! Need to find out which NOM this is.

NOM 1467 | Old Cabo Wabo Unique flavors, never had something like it Old candy, tutti frutti, slightly medicinal/cough drops, but still enjoyable

NOM 1440 | It’s ok. Definitely better out there for the price. Very big alcohol taste with butterscotch/vanilla finish stays for a while

NOM 1440 | Strong alcohol taste. Finish was just okay

Lots of butter & caramel on the nose. very sweet. strong, but no burn. butter, then butterscotch then a hint of pepper. easy finish invites you to take another. best of the 3 cabos.

NOM 1467

Very smooth Anejo & everything the notes refer to it is true and I purchased it on sale at HyVee liquor retail store on sale $31 a bottle on 02/07/2025. this is not My 1st bottle it's going to be a good to tequila whenever I'm in the mood for an Anejo Tequila.

Whiskey like taste with sweetness and strong alcohol. Somewhat weak finish though.

NOM 1440 | The taste is very much alcohol. It has a leathery taste, some spice. I can’t distinguish what flavors due to the strong alcohol taste. I wouldn’t recommend this a a sipper. I guess it would be a good shooter. Better than Cuervo. I would buy Patron silver before this again. Not as good to me as Patron Anejo and nowhere near Don Julio Anejo.

NOM 1467 | Old School lighthouse anñejo Agave on the nose, honey, . Color light gold Palate - wow. Strong agave , serious pop on the pepper finish. Long oily , kiss of sweet honeysuckle, wood, ripe fruit

Good price on anejo. It's is a good sipper on the rocks.

NOM 1440 | Flavor is moderately sweet - vanilla Finish has a bite up front, not very smooth On ice - a bit sweeter, slightly less bite

NOM 1467 | This is for the first anejo offering from Cabo Wabo called the Milleno version in a transparent brown bottle . Same legendary Cabo taste with aged barrel notes of whisky or bourbon . Great stuff !

NOM 1440 | Floral nose with hints of honey and leather. Flavors of toasted oak, honey butter, roasted agave and vanilla. Faint citrus. Vanilla custard on the finish.

NOM 1440 | Burns

I didn’t enjoy this as a sipper as much as I enjoy others. It makes a good cocktail.

Enjoyable Anjeo. The nose is buttery and sweet with agave, carmel, oak, vanilla, and pepper up front. Carmel and cinnamon on the back end. On the palate: Slight sweetness, alcohol, and medium burn, but smooth. Not terribly complex, but a very solid sipper. Best of the Cabo line.

NOM 1440 | Smoky

NOM 1440 | I didn’t go into this expecting much and I wasn’t surprised at all. It’s not much better than the reposado. The aroma was leather soaked in alcohol. The flavor is pure peppered heat, no sign of mellowing with age. The burn lasts all the way to the stomach. Not a fan.

NOM 1440 | Served chilled at Cabo Wabo Cantina. On the nose there is immediate vanilla, oak, and roasted agave present, intermingled with nutmeg, citrus, and butter. Notes of coconut and cream soda appear after opening up, before finally ending with chocolate and black tea. The flavor was very similar to the nose, with vanilla, oak, and roasted agave all making themselves known early on. The predominant flavor is more of a butterscotch, and underneath that there is some citrus with a dash of white pepper. Buttery coconut and chocolate are also there, before finishing with a bit of an herbal and caramel taste. The finish was fairly short, but well-rounded. This was pretty good for a celebrity tequila!
