nom 1466 from like 2018? doesn't taste like tequila. maybe use it as syrup on ur pancakes = no lie. I did that

Sweet as a Jolly Rancher.

NOM 1466 | Great aroma, mediocre flavor and a artificial sweet finish (diet soda)!

NOM 1466 | Nose is caramel and oak. In the mouth this XA is like tequila flavored syrup. No way this can feel or taste like this simply from aging for 3 or so years. Save or have this for dessert. Nose is nice is the best I can say. My rating is for the 1466 Tres Mujeres product from 3-4 years ago. There was no 1480 product at that time.

Today my best friend Les and I did a taste test on the Dos Artes Extra Añejo Tequila. Amazing decanter, it’s a gorgeous design. However, it was peppery on the pallet and the finish. It’s tequila and if you’re a shooter and want that burn, Dos Artes is a good option. I would not consider it a sipping tequila, it’s to peppery for that. The aroma is very sweet and tempting. When we tasted the tequila you can feel the bite. Overall it’s ok. It cost $150 and in my humble opinion it’s over priced. But it’s a nice decanter.

NOM 1466 | Nice bouquet with hints of oak vanillan. Darkish color due to extended oak aging. Nice agave flavors without being overoaked. Very smooth, rich and complex. This is excellent tasting sipping Tequila.

NOM 1466 | Was hard to find and waited a while to try this tequila and was not disappointed.

NOM 1466 | I enjoy this more than 1942. Good at room temp and out of the freezer. Good cruiser.

NOM 1466 | sweet vanilla toffee and caramel aromas. Big Carmel and vanilla taste with a hint of sweet smoke. Finishes with a sweet brown sugar after taste on the pallet

Way too sweet. It taste like someone is pouring agave syrup into the mix, after the fact. Way overpriced at $99.00 a bottle. In all fairness it is very smooth, start to finish. I just really disliked the syrupy sweetness. YMMV

NOM 1466 | Honey, light oak, smooth, subtle burn. Delicious

NOM 1466 | A bit of heat and pepper upfront but smooths into a fruity finish. Decent tequila but I expect a little more from an extra anejo

NOM 1466 | Smokey with a hint of vanilla. Light in body with just a touch of sweetness. Very nice.

NOM 1466 | Smokey and complex. Lovely
