Cooked agave, minerality and citrus on the nose. Grapefruit, white pepper. The palate is also earthy with minerality. I get agave, light brine. Long finish

Got an early taste of this before it was released and was very impressed. That tahona at 1414 seems to be doing some magic. I’m looking forward to sitting down with a full glass to revisit soon enough.

Clean, tight and buttoned up. Citrus. Some could say, maybe, too much so. The Navajos weave flaws into blankets so as not to offend the gods. No flaws detected here, but the price tag. I suspect it checks all the review boxes, but, for me, a little more dirt a grit and earth (like what I expect from a big stone turned by mules). Nothing negative to say, which is saying something. Likely won’t buy it again, but not because it isn’t perfecto.

Aroma: Minerality and citrus up front, with hints of cooked agave and grapefruit. Palate: The minerality carries through on the palate, followed by citrus and black pepper. Finish: Medium finish with a lingering spice. Overall Impression: The Tahona leaves a distinct earthy minerality. Very solid Tahona release for the price.
