Casa Mate is one of a kind! I love how they focus on sustainability and making an environmental and social impact. They are certified organic, kosher, use recycled glass bottles, agave fiber lables, and their partnership with 4Ocean shows they walk the walk when it comes to actually being sustainable. Most brands put profits first, but not Casa Mate! Their focus is on People and the Planet! It has a very fresh, light and vegetal aroma that is very pleasing. The flavor is very unique and it is so smooth as it goes down. It is my favorite tequila by far!

Casa Mate tequila platinum 40% NOM 1577, acquired recently, tasted on 5-2-26. Aroma: cooked agave, hint of anise, hint of minerality, hint of pepper spiciness, cooked agave note becomes sweeter as time goes by. Light acidity. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, hint of raw agave, slightly spicy. Medium to full mouthfeel. Finish is medium to long, light sweet cooked agave, hint of anise with a hint of minerality persists.
