“This I would say was my favorite from the line up. But it suffers from the same things as the blanco, amazing nose that doesn’t really carry over. The barrel aging makes up for a lot of what’s lacking in the blanco. Very well balanced, with subtle hints of the typical flavors you get from American Oak. I really wanted to like it more but that mouthfeel isn’t there. ”

“ At first pop, I was a little underwhelmed. But after a few months the profile changed and it opened up very nicely. The nose gives me a nice blend of cooked agave, cinnamon, allspice, cooked peaches & some butterscotch. The best way to describe the taste, is a liquid buttery crème brûlée with subtle hints of agave and minerality. I was hesitant to go back to it, but I’m glad I did. Salucita ”
