Standard flavors found in this class of tequila

Little musk and funk on the nose, green apple and black licorice. Notes of orange peel, cinnamon and spice, ends with white pepper and a pretty long finish. At home in a cocktail

Really interesting aroma mostly good with some strong alcohol. Aroma is earthy with minerals. Taste is good and not too hot. Finish is nice with long-lingering pepper and agave.

A Fruity & Spicy tequila. Aroma: cooked agave, green apple, dill, ripe plantain, and marzipan. Palate; peppercorns and butternut squash with some Black pepper.

I can’t get past that proprietary yeast, it’s a pretty honest effort from Cofradia and one of the better products I’ve tried. Still not recommended, if this. Rand wants to be taken seriously they should find an alternate producer.

It’s a bit hot on the finish, but it’s also high octane tequila. I like it!

NOM 1137- Aromas of cinnamon, pepper, and spice, with minerals, and a musty aroma, with citrus, vegetal, floral and some anise (licorice) notes. It has a potent taste with a hot cinnamon presence and a musty, sharp, mild fruit, citrus and spice presence, along with some sweet agave notes. It is pleasant enough to sip, but in a hi-proof cocktail, this agave sweetness and alcohol punch, would cut through the mixed flavors and add a tasty zest. Decent price for an over proof blanco.

Sharp aroma with agave and noticeable alcohol sting. Also, a bit of an unpleasant rubber-like note. Flavor is rich and full with cinnamon, black pepper and a hint of fruit sweetness. The finish is short. 6/29/2017

Great neat and great mixed, great value, bold and unique flavor.

Strong agave flavor, maybe a tad harsh for my taste.

This tequila needs time to open up like many other Blanco's I have found. I believe the sharpness will go away and the agave will come forward.

incredibly raw agave notes. a pleasant surprise and additive free. I understand why some people are put off by the strong agave and watermelon taste, but this tequila its original and with personality

NOM 1137 Strong oldish mosto funk smell, I liked it but others didn’t lol then cooked agave, earth, ethanol, and cinnamon. Tastes better than it smells, ethanol isn’t as potent. Medium/short finish. I didn’t like the backend as much. This is better than the new nom release

The high score is driven by the excellent value. Overall it's Pretty Not bad if you're looking for an inexpensive (sub $20 for me) tahona crushed tequila for mixing or sharing with acquaintances...friends should get something that scores higher than a value driven 80.

NOM 1647 | NOM 1647 short squat bottle . Only bought cuz local blow out price and seemed to have potential based on labeling & write up claims . Was a bit harsh , some pear, mint, a lot of weird alcohol & some long lingering chemical medicinal tastes . Just ok for mixer , def not a sipper . Sorry folks , maybe new NOM is better ?

Pretty bland and lifeless to me personally. Not nasty like I thought it might be. Works in a pinch.
