On the nose, I am getting cooked agave, vanilla, and caramel right away, then it shifts into chocolate, coffee, and raspberry notes from. On the palate, it’s rich and velvety great mouth feel —caramel, honey, plum, cherry, and that raspberry really comes through—definitely more fruit-forward than your typical Añejo. You still get some toasted oak and a little spice to balance it out. The finish is long, warm, and slightly sweet with butterscotch and a little citrus hanging on. This isn’t a purist tequila—but if you like finished whiskey or bold Añejos, this one hits.
Aroma: Lots of Sweet Agave, Vanilla is the standout from the barreling. Caramel and Oak are also very present in this young Reposado. There's a little Cinnamon/Baking Spices on the nose. Citrus and a Floral note give their influences as well. And you get a little Minerality coming through. Taste: Sweet Agave and Spicy Black Pepper are thrown at your Tongue. It takes a minute for that flavor to disapate before you can taste the nuances from the barrel. The Vanilla and Caramel bring a sense of balance after all the Pepper flavors. Oak is present, slightly. After letting it sit in the glass for 10-15 minutes and your own tastes come around, the sweet Citrus and Floral notes bring a balance to this pour. TMM 85
This is my highest rated anejo. The color is beautiful. The nose is well balanced. The taste is a copy of the nose.Rich, agave, butterschotch, chocolate, black cherry, berries, plum, toffee, citrus, fruit, and pepper. The mouthfeel is fantastic.

This iconic Mexican spirit, synonymous with celebration, is once again in clear view, and the options in Austin are lovely.
Mint, cooked agave and a slight lactic funk in the aroma. Spicy cinnamon and sweet agave combine to create a nice flavor. Warm finish is medium-short. This is a really nice blanco that would be a good sipper for a warm summer night. But, somehow, I feel like something is missing that would take it up to great/special status. It’s missing a complexity in aroma/flavor. 06-17-2026
