The 10/10 on value really have this one a bit of a boost, but I think its fantastic either way! Nose: Sweet Melon, Citrus, Vegetal, Anise, Floral, Limestone, Pepper Palate: Agave, Brine, Grass, Anise, Grapefruit, Minerality Finish: Anise, Fruit (tropical), Cinnamon, Black Pepper, Cooked Agave, some heat This is a solid staple that has no reason not to be in anyone's arsenal. The fruity flavors in this make it a great sipper and something that is not bad, but could be divisive in certain cocktails as a mixer. Overall, this is my favorite Zumbador release to date!
Nose- cooked agave, cinnamon, honey, baking spices Pallets is light, pepper, agave, caramel, butterscotch vanilla. Finish is quick with a nice a lingering pepper notes. The price point bring this level, Zumbador is an outstanding budget expression.
Blind tasted Aroma: 22/25 Sweet dense agave, vegetal, mild hay, undertone of general citrus. Musty with a hint of raspberry Palate: 26/30 Lower side of medium mouth feel. Vegetal elements from the aroma shows up in shades on the palate. Nice agave sweetness. Lemon zest. Finish: 21/25 Nice length to the finish. Plenty of warming sensations that settle into the upper chest.
Funky, earthy, and parsley aromas come across the nose. More funk and some mineral tastes join in during the first sip. Feels like if Don Fulano and Fortaleza had a baby. You’d be very hard pressed to find a better value than this anywhere.
The aroma and taste are very similar - cooked agave and pepper are front and center followed by earthy mineral and some citrus fruit. It has a nice finish that hangs on for a few extra seconds. This is an all around great tequila for sipping and/or mixing. This drinks as a much higher value but at its very friendly price it is worth stocking a few bottles in your barz
