40ABV, agave forward with faint citrus note aftertaste, pleasant mixer with no “alcohol kick.” Liquid summertime.
There is just a ghost of a scent that is barely discernible making you wonder if “agua” is an appropriate name for this tequila; the raw flavor initially starts out the same only be followed by an immediate zing of distinct peppers that gives a rather enjoyable experience; in the margarita it blends in if not even hides behind the flavors of the other ingredients. This is a smooth tequila that lacks the alcohol bite that others might miss or, like me, prefer.
It’s a little harsh on the nose but the flavor is surprisingly good. I love the cooked agave flavor coming through the minerality.
Con aromas frescos de agave cocido, cítricos y ligeras notas herbales, su sabor es suave, balanceado y limpio.
