“Pleasantly smooth and invites you to immediately try more. An uplifting happy friend that’ll get you in trouble by trying more. The aroma at first has a fruity hint but you then realize there is no fruit that smells like this. The raw taste streams out in parallel lines, curving downwards in a smooth path. ”

“The nose is gifted with a buttery smooth scent good enough to delay the first sip with a series of additional inhales. With that first sip a smooth flavor confirms this is an all around great tequila and the flavor happily lingers behind.”

“Several sniffs are needed to finally determine there is something present that smells weak and average. The waft of risen bread dough hits you which fortunately does not carry over to the flavor. Instead, the first sip is a big let down from the original G4 blanco. This is no upgrade other than double the price with half the pleasure. It has an an earthy sadness with an alcohol slap. In the margarita, the taste thankfully disappears (mostly) but leaves you sitting alone as you brood over the loss of purchasing two of the better cheaper G4 bottles instead of this one. ”

“Scent has a distinct cross of tequila and of distant wine that dares to peak through; initial taste is unlike other tequilas and starts with an immediately disappearing sweetness that feigns a soda; the taste instantly reverts to a confused complex of flavors that defies anything familiar; the aftertaste is neutral and hints at being a decent additive to the margarita; in the drink it operates just as well as any other above average tequila; this is a legitimate flavored spirit and not just a pink gimmick but it won’t be in my often visited drinks. ”

“Mild but suspicious scent makes you wonder or at least hope this will taste better; nope. The alcohol bite is too strong and fails to be compensated with flavor. The aftertaste lingers unhappily. Unlike others, the margarita does not mask the tequila flavor well enough to enjoy the drink. The bottle is definitely the best thing about buying this spirit. ”

“The scent brought back childhood memories of eating dirt and warns me to not taste this; the warning should have been stronger because I soon had regrets; the taste zizzles and spanks the tongue with some unknown assembly of many substances, all of which compete like grubby little children to be the worst; the makers should taste this before selling it. Quickly made me think of those colored, number coded warning labels required to be put on the back of tankers to announce the type of danger inside.”

“Mild scent of nothing in particular but it at least smells smooth; the raw taste teases you with possible flavor but what might have been good is suddenly coated over with a less than pleasant zing; there is a distant hint of something smoky; within the margarita it works ok amongst the other flavors but there are definitely better tequilas. ”

“Smooth, neutral smell has a vague flowery hint; the raw flavor repeats that smoothness and suddenly kicks in with something almost sweet that disappears almost before you recognized it was there; mixes nicely in the margarita while enhancing the added syrup sweetness. ”

“There is not much of a detectable scent despite repeated efforts. This was disappointing because it has a hint of something that might be enjoyed if tangibly grasped. The flavor is somewhat rich at first but dissolves away to leave an uncertain pepper bite.”

“An earthy, grassy flatness hits the nose and sets the stage for possible disappointment for the upcoming taste; true to form, there is disappointment in a raw sip tainted with a bitter flavor of veggie water strained through grass; someone will like the snearing veggie slap but not me; the margarita cannot save the flavor and more agave syrup and another pour of a different and better tequila is needed to save the drink; I’m already thinking of which friend to gift this new bottle.”

“The scent is very mild, almost undetectable and seemingly trying to stay hidden. This scent creates an imagery of narrow parallel furrows leading away that I find enticing. The initial sip mirrors the shyness of the scent with a smooth sensation, giving only the lightest bite. This is a wonderfully tasty tequila. ”

“A sudden hint of sweetness hits the nose and then immediately evaporates to morph into an earthy, cardboard-hinting scent. The sipping taste changes tact and is a bit disappointing with an overly peppered flavor that bites back with a distinct earthy lingering taste. In the margarita the earthy flavor weaves its way through the margarita and becomes a negative distraction to the drink. The drink needs a touch more sweetness added to offset the Volans. ”

“Scent is hopeful, giving only a quality aire and no distractions; the raw taste is a little more complicated where it is first good then issues a small concern of a medical hint and then ends with this fleeting lingering earthy taste; in the margarita it blends in well so that anything of concern disappears to leave you with a good drink; there is something missing about the taste like a flavor that never arrives or a sneeze that almost happened. ”

“There is just a ghost of a scent that is barely discernible making you wonder if “agua” is an appropriate name for this tequila; the raw flavor initially starts out the same only be followed by an immediate zing of distinct peppers that gives a rather enjoyable experience; in the margarita it blends in if not even hides behind the flavors of the other ingredients. This is a smooth tequila that lacks the alcohol bite that others might miss or, like me, prefer. ”

“The scent seems to actively hide, not wanting to come out of a bottle; you have to keep sniffing at it to find a hint it exists; then, after tasting it you realize that maybe the scent is the best thing about this so far. It is not smooth or even tasty. In the drink it is mercifully hidden in the other flavors. ”

“One of my favorite Top 5. Smooth rolling texture; invites you to smell and sip it again to take another guess at its mystery; a gossamer veneer of anise sneaks up after a short delay”

“Its aroma has a faint hint of something familiar. After a few seconds of puzzlement, you’re suddenly disappointed to peg it as finger nail polish remover. Upon tasting it raw, the disappointment grows. But, at least its flavor is weaker than the remover. There are worse tequilas. Hiding this tequila in a margarita works about the same as hiding an old sock in your fresh laundry. That sucker still makes itself known.”

“Scent is mild, almost hollow and deeply indented as it tries but defies to create a distinguishable smell. The taste is concerning at first as you think $85 was 3x over priced for an overly alcohol tinge. But, it quickly transforms into something that says this might be uniquely decent. Definitley smooth and the lingering taste is better than the initial taste. In the margarita, sweetener or other flavoring is required to overcome that raw sip. Over priced at even $45. I will not buy this again. ”

“Scent is richer and more noticeable than others with a unique and very welcoming character; raw taste is immediately smooth that hints at having too strong a taste but suddenly steps back and says “enjoy me”; a silky tease of anise plays hide-and-seek to add to this great taste; added to the margarita this makes the entire drink very tasty and well deserving of having a second.”
