Nice agave, anise and pepper aroma. Mild flavor with a little sting. Finish is a little thin and quick, but overall very nice.

Nice viscous mouthfeel. Lots of agave, mixed with vanilla , barrel notes, pitted fruit citrus and a slight bitterness like orange peel. Little pepper on the backend

Aroma/Taste: The aroma is a delightful mix of cola, citrus (lime, grapefruit), with underlying notes of cooked agave, floral rose, lavender, and orange blossom. Interestingly, there are unexpected hints of butterscotch, caramel, ginger, and butter—flavors typically associated with barrel aging, which is surprising for a blanco. On the palate, the taste is complex, featuring mint, white pepper, and floral notes. Finish: The finish is warm and lengthy, with flavors of lime, anise, and black pepper heat. Although the first sip had a harsh finish, it settled in nicely and became quite pleasant over time. Overall: When tasted blind, this tequila stands out as very good. It has a cola and medicinal forward profile, with sweet cooked agave and citrus notes that I thoroughly enjoy.

TMM Blind Tasting:2025 Aroma opens with cooked agave’s sweet potato essence, joined by petrichor, almond, anise, and a touch of ethyl. On the palate, cooked agave shows raisin and prune depth, layered with citrus, anise, vegetal tones, spearmint, cinnamon, and an herbal thread. The finish is thin but lasting, with lingering agave, light salinity, and grapefruit citrus.

Aroma: rich sweet oranges, sweet Mexican cinnamon, cooked agave, citrus, white sugar, herbs, brine/salt, vanilla Flavors: sweet Mexican cinnamon (wow!), clove, cooked agave, Pallet: the Mexican cinnamon lingers for a long time, it really lasts. It’s a unique flavor but I really enjoy it in this tequila. Over all, this is unique in the best ways. Mexican flavors come out strong. It’s complex and flows well from nose to tongue to finish. Yum!

Agave, pepper, briny on the nose and palate. There is a note that I can’t quite place – not sure if it’s just the floral, or something else. I get more of the briny on the finish, which is a bit light.
