On the nose I’m getting a vegetal pepper aroma with dry oak barrel spices and some wood tannins. It’s earthy and vegetal. I taste earthy cooked agave and the dry barrel spices. The agave tastes caramelized and the barrel spices are dry and earthy. The finish has some sweetness and the barrel spices come in dry with a touch of bitterness Overall the agave sweetness brings a caramel note. The agave is earthy and the barrels are spicy. The wood tannins are dry. This make a caramel, earthy, and spicy Añejo.
On the nose, I get a nice intensity of aromas. There’s lime zest, grapefruit rind, and limestone. It’s earthy with dry minerals, agave, some vegetal notes, and a slight hint of herbs. The vegetal notes hit first but it’s quickly followed by grapefruit rind and minerals that have an earthy spice. It’s agave sweetness, minerals, a vegetal note, and black pepper. Overall this tequila has a nice aromatic nose and some bright flavors with a medium peppery finish.
There’s aromas of cooked agave, orange zest and caramel along with some lighter vanilla notes. There a rustic and earthy quality that’s slightly spicy. The initial impact on the palate is spicy and sweet. There are flavors of caramelized agave sweetness, dark citrus zest, dry herbs, spicy barrel notes and a vegetal pepperiness. Overall this Reposado if full of flavors. There are several notable tastes and aromas. It has nice natural sweetness but it’s still earthy and spicy. It’s a nice sipper for a cool evening.
Like the blanco, I want to echo Bryce's notes. Rustic, enjoyable. well crafted and lovely bottle, but a slight knock for the value.
I want to echo Bryce Taylor's notes. Live the bottle design and its a fun sipper, but a blanco at $67 takes a slight hit. Still, a fun sip.
Very mild somewhat smokey aroma. Very smooth with a mild smoke flavor and sweet finish. A little weak in the end.
Mild agave aroma with some sweet notes. Subtle sweet agave notes. Some mild pepper with a mild and somewhat sharp finish.
Nose starts with sweet agave, grass, anise, tea, lime, honey, a bit of an unnatural sweetness, and white pepper Taste is agave, pepper, minerals, a chloraseptic taste which really numbs the tongue and makes it difficult not.only to pick up flavors its also very difficult to enjoy.
