This blanco has a clean and fresh nose. There are aromas of citrus zest, sweet cooked agave, white pepper, and a fresh vegetal note akin to celery and parsley. The cooked agave is up front, which is common among tequilas produced at NOM1414. The cooked agave provides a nice natural sweetness. There’s some citrus that provides a nice zesty quality, and then the white pepper appears. The finish is sweet cooked agae and muted peppers. Overall, this blanco is very clean and balanced. It’s easy to sip but still has some nice flavors.
Old profile from 2012 It was delicious and full of flavor, if you find a dusty vintage bottle it will amaze you
tasted at old Town cafe San Diego 2013. here are our notes. rating based on these notes. Alderete anejo- tall pyramid bottle citrus vanilla anise, sweet, juicy, similar to other XO like 42, a little hotter, might be a good bargain?
