Siembra azul 12 yr XA tasted at fire-pit party in Monterey Really well-balanced with notes of whiskey barrel spices and sweet brown sugar
Initial aromas of honey blend with warm oak, cinnamon, a clean minerality, and some vegetal cooked agave. The flavor puts forward more of that honeyed agave, while also being light and crisp, the influence of the barrel is lighter on this one, creating an interesting blend of agave and oak. On the finish, a clean and mellow sweetness of agave and oak, that lasts a while, eventually gives way to notes of cinnamon and black pepper.
