Nose: Agave anchors everything here, but it’s elevated by layers of vanilla and caramel that feel deep and fully developed rather than sweet for sweetness’ sake. Chocolate adds richness, oak brings quiet authority, and the spice, (black pepper and cinnamon), rises slowly, warming the nose and setting a serious tone. It’s expressive and immediately pulls you in. Palate & Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, slick, and oily, coating the palate with intention. Agave and oak arrive first, then expand into caramel and creamy vanilla that feel luxurious. Cinnamon drives with real presence, backed by black pepper and a touch of burnt sugar that adds depth. Nothing feels rushed or overstated - every flavor knows exactly when to show up and when to step back. Finish: The finish is long and composed. Barrel spice and cinnamon linger, softened by creamy vanilla, while agave stays present all the way through. It fades slowly, leaving warmth and clarity. Final Thoughts: This is an extra añejo that demands attention. It’s thoughtful, layered, and emotionally engaging without ever drifting into excess. For me, this sits at the very top…an XA that delivers both intellect and feeling, and one I won’t forget anytime soon. If you’re fortunate enough to try it, you’ll understand immediately why it stands apart.

Initial aromas of honey blend with warm oak, cinnamon, a clean minerality, and some vegetal cooked agave. The flavor puts forward more of that honeyed agave, while also being light and crisp, the influence of the barrel is lighter on this one, creating an interesting blend of agave and oak. On the finish, a clean and mellow sweetness of agave and oak, that lasts a while, eventually gives way to notes of cinnamon and black pepper.
