Sampled at Aurora Tequila Fest.

Not great. Almost a vanilla taste to it. Strange aftertaste for me. Only tried a sample. Would like to revisit.

Weak nose, simple taste and finish. Not much body but overall it’s clean and very affordable. Bulk margaritas maybe.

Sampled at a tequila tasting at Binny’s. Very underrated tequila at a great price. Aroma: Fresh cooked agave with hints of mint, orchard fruit, and grassy/earthy notes. Not super complex, but not bad. Palate: Cooked agave throughout. Lots of baking spice and black pepper. Faint pear flavor. Buttery, thick viscous body. Not the most complex, but again, a really good tequila. Finish: Not super long, but cooked agave and pepper is prevalent on the finish. Mint fades pretty quickly. Delicious additive-free tequila, made the right way, and for $30, I would put this bargain tequila up against Cimarron and Arette.

Mexican 38% abv. versión, marbete is from year 2007, tasted on 3-20-25. Aroma: hint of cooked agave, alcohol sensation is medium to medium high, light acidity, hint of citrus, sweetness and agave fiber aroma that intensifies as time goes by and seems unnatural. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, sweetness seems unnatural on the palate. Finish is short to medium, unnatural sweetness, ends quite bland.

Very thick on mouth feel. Slight grassiness. Basic $30 tequila.
