Appearance A beautiful light golden color in the glass. It holds nicely to the Riedel, forming defined legs without appearing overly thick or syrupy. Visually, it has a clean and inviting appearance. Aroma On the initial opening of the bottle, I immediately picked up vanilla, cooked agave, and caramel. I let the tequila rest in the glass for about 15 minutes before nosing it again, allowing the aromas to open up and develop. Taste The first sip brought caramel and vanilla to the front, along with a touch of butterscotch. As it moved across the palate, the sweeter notes gave way to a noticeable agave character on the back end. I really enjoyed that the agave wasn’t lost behind the barrel influence. Finish The finish was smooth and pleasant, leaving my mouth slightly wet rather than dry or astringent. A gentle warmth lingered after the sip without becoming harsh or overpowering. Overall Impression Nosotros Reposado strikes a nice balance between the sweeter barrel-driven notes of vanilla, caramel, and butterscotch and the underlying agave. The barrel influence is noticeable without completely taking over, allowing the agave to still have a presence, particularly toward the back of the palate. An approachable and enjoyable reposado with a smooth, warming finish.
