“For a 14 year tequila this wasn't as oak heavy as I thought it would be. Def notes of vanilla on the forefront with oak heat on the finish. Letting it sit for 15-20 mins helped tame the heat. A few drops of water helps tame as well. ”

“Such an interesting tequila. Notes of caramel and burnt sugar on the nosing. Initial taste is caramel followed by cooked agave. Long finish. Good value for the bottle as well. Ps: revisited this a week later and feel like the caramel notes are much stronger. I still like it but maybe it's a bit too caramel heavy. Almost tastes slightly artificial”

“Before I even review go buy this bottle. One of the best tequila I have ever had. Aged in three years in American white oak and then two years split in sherry and cognac and then blended. This is harmonious. Opens with hints of citrus and dark fruits. Initial flavor is agave followed by burnt orange and cognac notes. Long finish that interplays between the sherry and cognac notes. Amazing stuff. Finished the bottle in two days. Kept going back”

It did get better after I let it open up. Muted notes of caramel and vanilla was evident. Short finish but enjoyable once it opened up”

“The very first tequila I ever had. My Roomate got it when she came back from Mexico. I recently had it again and it still had all the flavors I enjoyed. Cooked agave and hints of caramel of the forefront. Had a lackluster finish but this was very easy to drink”

“So this ones weird for me. I had this first when it was made in the older nom and I loved it. I was also new to drinking tequila and this was smooth and easy to drink. Recently I had a comparison of both on a blind taste with tapatio and herradura anejos. The old def was better but didn't taste as good as I remembered it. Still easy to drink but no flavors stood out. The new nom was the worst in the group because it had a weird baking soda aftertaste. If u can find the older bottle grab for a collection but there are much better anejos”
