“Like so many XA’s in this price range it is way too sweet. Thankfully there is a bit more alcohol burn to balance and it actually does retain some agave flavor amidst the ocean of barrel notes.”

“Good stuff, but too expensive and a bit too sweet for my tastes. Having experienced more extra añejos recently I’m understanding that they’re generally too sweet for me. Would be cool to see distillers creating a separate recipe for long aging that is less sweet so the barrel aging doesn’t make the end product so cloying.”
