“Notes of alcohol, that is it. The aromas were stripped in the charcoal filtering. I had high expectations as I love the Extra Añejo, but was very disappointed. However, tasting other cristalinos in the market, it seems it is common to strip away all the good stuff. Hence the reason for additives such as vanilla. Definitely would go for an Herradura or Don Julio 70 if looking for a better cristalino.”

“One of the best Cristalinos I've tasted. Smooth and sweet. The vanilla notes may be overwhelming for some. There is definitely some vanilla additive in it. Compared to Don Julio 70, chilled and served in shots, I dare to say it's a close match. ”
