nom 1560 notes from tasting 2015 very sweet caramel vanilla butterscotch. don't taste the agave
The Sweetness overrides the other flavors. If you like really sweet flavorless tequila this is it.
NOM 1560 | Nose has a lot of caramel and vanilla up front but not too overwhelming. The pallet is cloyingly sweet. Aspartame sweetness with tons of caramel and vanilla cupcake. Drinks more like a liquor than most tequila I’ve tried.
NOM 1477 | Loads of Carmel, vanilla and oak…. Very very little agave smell or taste … very sweet like candy … thick on the palate… no complexity ….. like a sweet whiskey without the burn
NOM 1477 | Lots of French oak and far too much sweetness. Does not seem like tequila.
Very sweet, makes a great after dinner supper. Great color, long legs, caramel, chocolate and nice oak flavors.
NOM 1560 | Bought a bottle while on vacation in Mexico long before I knew anything about good, well made tequila. I can only describe this as overly sweetened liquid tequila candy.
NOM 1477 | LCS Tequila Event February 2020 Nose: Honey, spice, vanilla and unmistakable French oak aroma. Flavor: Over the top sweetness. Heat and some salinity. But the sweetness simply overwhelms all other flavors.
NOM 1477 | Being a fan of Adictivo Repo and Anejo I was looking forward to trying this EA. Like mort tequilas from this distillery, this tequila was very sweet. Almost to sweet, it lost a lot of the agave flavor and became almost more of a cordial. I did enjoy the sweet caramel and vanilla flavors. A hint of chocolate was also evident. I missed the flavor of the agave in this product. On a good note: I brought this to a local Christmas party as a gift. There were new many fans of this tequila before the end of the night.
NOM 1560 | I just can’t get past the cloying sweetness, this smells AMAZING and promptly makes me gag like I’m sipping on maple syrup. People love this stuff and I don’t want to rain if their parade but this just isn’t my jam.
super sweet. additives likely
There is some oak on the nose and in the flavor with some heat but the sweetness is the big player.
NOM 1477 | I honestly feel there needs to be a new category of tequila that put some of these into the desert wine type of category. Anyhow the entire experience lacks agave. The nose has caramel and the taste is super sweet and spicy. The cinnamon and spices coupled with the sweetness wants me to be sitting at a fireplace while the snow is falling. My notes of the aroma and taste were fairly consistent with the popular selection. The price really ends up being for the fancy bottle with is eye catching. Just wish the drink didn’t leave an incredibly sweet aftertaste that made me feel like I poured simple syrup on my tongue ten minute later.
Carmel, Spices, White Pepper
Feel like you can taste the additives in it, definitely have had smoother
NOM 1477 | Tastes like an over flavoured sweet rum. Very little agave. Strong molasses. Goes down smooth but none of it screams tequila when you sip it.
This is a sweet tequila and drinks like a scotch.
Oak aroma, overly sweet. Negligible agave notes. Okay sipper iced for my wife.
NOM 1477 | The French oak and agave syrup make it really sweet. Vanilla, butterscotch, cinnamon and a little oak are there. It has the perfect amount of burn and a long sweet finish that makes me want more. The only tequila that I liked chilled in the freezer. Probably would make a great old fashioned but I like it straight on ice. This will always be my favorite.
More Oaky than the crystalino adictivo. There are aditives. Agave syrup which sweeten the tequila, some people disagree but I like the sweetness and its a natural aditive Great for sipping and tasting! Modest price level
Super sweet but not in a bad way. Very nice after taste.
NOM 1560 | Chemical sweet, caramel nose. For me, enjoyable as a liqueur sipper, if I downplay the artificiality of the sweetness and oak. A fleeting hint of agave late in the taste is the only thing making this an identifiable tequila. I would never pay what my wife did for this gift bottle.
fake sweet
NOM 1477 | Sweet! Taste like fake vanilla and corn syrup. Doesn’t even taste like tequila.

Admittedly, this tequila has established the fact that I'm a tequila snob. After drinking additive-free, exclusively, for the last few years, this was terrible. Knowing that I'm a tequila fan, a friend poured me a glass. We're no longer friends ;). This is all maple syrup and butterscotch. Medicinal, fake, and glycerin sweetness. Not a hint of agave anywhere near this bottle. It's a no-go.
