“lote: L01PN 25/09/25 aroma: oak, sweet dried fruit, warm spices taste: (fresh crack) sweet/tart dried fruit almost like plum/prune, oak, some cooked agave behind it. it does have some sweetness to it that makes it incredibly smooth. Now that I think if it, this kind of reminds me of a brandy in its overall experience. finish: that sweet/tart flavor lingers after the heat subsides. Sweetness throughout and the heat does linger after the initial rush of heat. Overall this is a very tasty XA, and admittedly this is my first proper XA. I typically enjoy blancos, and while this is much different I can appreciate the qualities. I think this would fit well when I'm craving a whisky but want an agave flavor profile. I bought this Costco for less than half of retail price. I don't know if this is my type of spirit ,so at this price point, I think it's very good. I would have a very different opinion if I had paid full price. ”

“lote: DLBC023209 204625 Date: 22/11/23 note sure which number is lote, but that's what's on the back of the bottle Aroma: a little grassy, herbal, mineral, cooked agave, brine. Taste: major cooked agave sweetness up front, herbal notes, fresh green pepper. Minerality and brine do not really come through as it does on the nose, but it is there. Finish: incredibly short burn with lingering sweetness. This reminds me of Ocho Blanco with the agave bomb type profile. This coming from NOM 1414 with numerous additive free high quality labels, it could also be additive free and did not pickup synthetic flavors or sweeteners. At $25 a bottle, this is an absolute screaming deal. Now, it's not as complex as other blancos. I was a bit disappointed the aroma of minerality or brine didn't come through on the taste. Overall, an amazing tequila for the price.”

“How much sugar and vanilla did they add to this? Tequila should not taste like this. Smells like cake batter. ”

“Aroma is kinda flat. Smells like tequila, haha. Taste, Simple but quite good. Cooked agave, a bit of citrus and pepper. I almost want to say a hint of cinnamon. a great value at $17 price point. I found this at Grocery Outlet and when I noticed it came from NOM 1614 it was an easy purchase. Not very complex. I mainly used it for mixing but it is good enough to sip. But again, not very complex. Finishes surprisingly clean.”

“Classic Don Fulano funk with some residual sweetness that doesn't really come through until after the first few sips. I expected a stronger flavor profile with this Don Fulano Fuerte. I expected a stronger flavor profile that didn't quite come through. Still a great tequila and a great value for what it is. ”

“Aroma: cooked agave. Earthy minerality is present. Little to no ethanol aroma or burn. Taste: not an agave bomb, but still sweet up front. Earthy mineral medium finish. very smooth. mouth feel: very neutral and clean Finish: brief and juicy (not dry) with some residual sweetness. My non-tequila drinking friends agreed this is a very approachable "fancy" tequila. ”
