Alcohol burn on the nose but nice clean agave comes through. Thin mouth feel but a nice pepper finish. Not bad, an easy sipper.

A decent sipper, although I wouldn’t consider this blanco a standout compared to other options from 1146. A nose that left me wanting more & a flavor profile that pulled some punches.

The aroma truly disarmed and alarmed me because the initial blast was overwhelming nuttiness (walnuts) and acetone with slight cardboard notes. I did pick up cooked agave, chalkiness, earthiness, and butter to all combine with strikingly pleasant and soft ethyl. The taste won me over instantly: Cooked agave, nuttiness (pecans walnuts), brine. pepper, anise, butter, cocoa, acetone, soft ethyl and banana. Very earthy. Instant fan. If I ever do margs on a reg this is what I want as my well.

Alcohol, mineral, mint, agave, spearmint, cherry, chamomile, starts rough and ends with some medicinal after taste

This kind of bums me out, I have such a soft spot in my heart for this brand and after not tasting it for 4 years it’s falling short of my memory. It has agave, a decent finish and it’s approachable but nothing here is blowing my skirt up!

Aroma: Rich ripe agave notes, a trace of cinnamon and mint, minerals and cut wet grass. Flavor: Thick and oily in the mouth. A honey like sweetness that carries some spiciness, dill weed and black pepper heat. A modicum of acceptable bitterness on the back of the tongue. The palate is considerably more robust than the nosing. Finish: Mingling playfully, pepper, anise and agave notes all the way to the finish line. A Mexican bottling with a tax stamp from 2011.

Blind rated. Cooked agave in the nose, some pepper and little mint, lime and alcohol In the palate tons of cooked agave as well, very smooth, just a little fun spice tingling on the front. Long agave finish with a mild sweetness lingering on the tongue. I really like it, particularly for the price!

From a blind tasting. Nice green agave notes on the nose. Slight bit of oiliness in the mouth along with tip of the tongue alcohol buzz. Hint of bitterness on the finish but it doesn't detract overall. Enjoyable but nothing really stands out for me.

Agave and maybe some kind of blossom-type aroma. Long slow tears. Smooth. Mild pepper on the back end. Long numbing finish. Very nice. I could happily sip this all night.

The aroma is nice. The palate is not alcohol forward. On the nose I get more floral and raw agave with some vegetal and citrus notes. On the palate I also get raw agave , citrus , pepper and light anise at the end. Not a long finish. It’s still quite good after the initial alcohol kick dissipates. Definitely clean and good amount of agave. I think an 80 score it low. One thing I think many of us don’t do enough is allow the spirit to open up.

Lote: 95PSB18, bottled on 22-04-2022. The figure of the bottle is shorter exactly like the Blanco Fuerte. Black plastic twist cap. Aroma: salty raw agave, cooked tomatoes, minty & fresh, briny, black olives. Palate: salty raw agave, slightly mineral & earthy. Finish is medium to long, salty raw agave notes persist.
