The aroma is very dry with a lot of oak and leather. I also get a dried cherry and peach. I like the aroma a lot. It does lose most of the agave but it smells nice and somewhat unique. Flavor is very heavy on the oak. There is a hint of an agave/honey like sweetness and I do get some tart dried fruit. The finish is a tad bitter and lingers a while but it’s good. The value really pumps the score up as this is about a $40 bottle. Hard to beat that price on an Añejo but it’s a good bottle and something I think a lot of folks newer to tequila especially from whiskey would enjoy.

Aroma is a little hot out the gate with ethanol but once you get passed that there’s a nice cooked agave sweetness, some earth and minerality, followed by a hint of citrus and floral aromas. As it opens up there’s also a bit of a creamy note as well. Flavor is on the simple side but that’s to be expected for what I would consider a budget brand. I do get some cooked agave, a sweet cream, and a nice orange blossom honey type of flavor. It’s subtle but good and also open up the more I drink it. For around $30 I could see this being a nice introduction to someone newer to tequila and I could also see this mixing well in a cocktail. Doesn’t blow you away but hits all the marks for a bottle that could live on your bar and be pulled out for any occasion.

Rated blind during 2026 Agavos Awards: "Caramelized agave, snickerdoodle, cinnamon, and a little bit of funk on the aroma. Flavor has agave, hay, and vanilla. It's pretty dry in the mouth, with an olive/vanilla finish."

NOSE: Raw agave, pear, vegetal, slight barrell influence, butter PALATE: Cooked agave, oak, barrell spices, citrus, pear, caramel, vanilla, pepper Very drinkable, not complex. Extremely good price point
