Nose & flavor i get cooked agave, oak, butterscotch, vanilla, barrel spices. Has a good medium finsh. enjoyable and very great price. Mexico only tequila at 38%abv.
XA but not the cristalino. Good aroma with some agave and a lot of vanilla and caramel. Taste is explosive with good flavor: more caramel, light pepper, and orange blossom. Finish is smooth and sweet but not long lasting. Schtick: the inventor of Don Julio 1942 is Don Francisco. Fact check this later.
38% Mexico only. Aroma is the best part of this really good sipper. Agave, caramel and light butterscotch on the nose. Taste is good with sweet agave, light pepper and butter. Finish is ok. Thanks Clint!

Francisco J Gonzalez brand comes from the son of OG Don Julio tequila. This anejo has some great nose and flavors. I get cooked agave, oak, barrel spices, butterscotch, vanilla, caramel, maple, whiskey notes. This has good finish, medium but lasts. I'm enjoying this anejo. This is a Mexico only brand that comes in at 38% abv but has been very hard to find. Highly recommend this brand especially the anejo.
