NOM 1570 | Aroma: yeasty, vanilla, subtle bubblegum, Fl: alcohol burn that lingers, not much flavor going on, barely any agave- Finish: short

NOM 1570 | Nose: Caramel, honey, hazelnut, and leather. Some fruity elements underneath the general barrel notes. Some but not a lot of agave. Palate: Mouth feel starts off on the medium side and quickly fades to relatively thin. Mild cooked agave, charred oak, spice, vegetal, and general alcohol. More burn than I’d expect from an 80 proofer. This is an okay option for those looking to explore budget additive free tequila. However, I wouldn’t start with this one.

Nose: vanilla / hint of caramel / sweetener / bit of pear / apple / hint of lime and grapefruit/ orange blossom Flavor: vanilla / caramel/ / earthy / pear / cherry / hint of mint / honey lingering finish / too sweet to taste like agave Finish: quick and clean non-lingering finish / sweetener/ vanilla This is a drinkable tequila that has some artificial sweetness that is too strong. Some of the other flavors seem a little too artificial somehow.

I had an initial reaction of additives. This is a nice repo but not at the level you can find. Perhaps my bias against additives. The aroma has vanilla, soft floral smells and alcohol on deep inhalation. The taste is sweet and smooth. A medium long finish with small late burn. I wonder why the organic blanco is good, the regular blanco is bad, and the repo is ok. Maybe someone needs a better chemistry degree.

agave is somewhat masked on the aroma by vanilla, caramel and wood. agave shows a bit more ankle in the flavor but still too much vanilla and caramel for me, with the wood still present. very short finish. not going in the direction I like (moving from blanco to reposado), so I'm not inspired to try the anejo. tough to recommend, even at the reasonable price

What in the f**k did they do to this to make it so outrageously delicious with such average Blanco?!? The most surprising and random evolution in a barrel I’ve ever seen, I’m guessing that 1% additive went a long way here. Tastes like candy, it’s good.

Grassy, buttery nose with some alcohol. Sweet, mild oak, mild butterscotch flavor with mild burn. Medium thin texture. Relatively fast, but pleasant finish with no bitterness.

Nose has honey, vanilla and caramel, with light agave. Entry tends to sweet with black pepper spice. Bitterness creeps in mid-palate, spreading nicely to the roof of the mouth. Nutty finish lingers for an acceptable time, finally turning to dark cocoa. This is an easy sipping bargain.

NOM 1570 | Mellow good flavor but slight immature agave and alcohol. For the price can’t go wrong.

NOM 1570 | Big improvement over the blanco, which isn’t common for me with a repo since I tend to like blancos the most. The vanilla was the hero note over agave, and the finish was pretty bitter.

Tried it because the price was right, but wisely chose a small bottle. Vanilla. So much vanilla. might use the rest for cooking. Bad run? I dunno, but this was not my thing.

NOM 1570 | Agave nose with pepper, a little sweetness but not as much as others notice. Flavor is not all that different with the agave and pepper dominating for me but some alcohol comes out. The finish is short which makes me take the next stop too soon but this is not a bad tequila, somewhat pedestrian but still good enough for me.

NOM 1570 | Smooth sipping reposado. Caramel and vanilla aroma and flavor. I love it.

A step up from the blanco. It reminds me of comparing lunazul blanco and repo. It probably leans better toward being a mixer and bot really a sipper. Still a little sharp with some mellow wood notes.

Good agave notes along with vanilla and caramel.

Pretty standard aroma of agave, cinnamon, and alcohol. Taste starts mellow with agave, vanilla, cinnamon and grass that transitions into a finish that starts smooth but ends with a slight bite.

3 Amigos Reposado follows their wonderful blanco with an entry that doesn't quite measure up. Affordable ($29 @ Total Wine) and easy to mix or sip, this is a great value tequila. Nose: Alcohol on the initial pour, that dissipates only to have the nose almost completely disappear after some time un the glass. The initial draw is light cooked agave, carmel, oak, vanilla and baking spices. Toasted almond, orange citrus, and tobacco on the back end. Taste: Oak bitterness and a big bite of peppery heat. Mouthfeel is thin and the bitterness takes away from the cooked agave, oak, and bajing spices. I get hints of toasted coconut and chocolate. Finish: Long heat and a bit of bitterness on the finish.

bit of additive taste towards the end. begins great tastes well on the tongue but bad finish unfortunately. maybe good for a mixer

NOM 1499 | Agave Peppercorn Spice

NOM 1499 | Aroma: alcohol, caramel, agave. Flavor: alcohol opening followed by , caramel with a hint of agave. Finish: burning aftertaste. Opinion: I don’t understand why all the fuss about this tequila, I will say that are better tequilas at the same price point. I won’t buy it again.
