“Overall - This has a lot of complexity if you sit with it and enjoy it. Every sip something different comes out for me. I wish I had a backup, this is a tequila to enjoy. It is on the expensive side so that’s the rub. Nose - cooked agave is prominent, a bit olive/brine and an occasional undertone of butter comes through every couple of swirls and smells. Which is odd combo so either I’m picking up something that isn’t there or something unique. It is pleasant regardless. Taste - cooked agave is the prominent flavor, some citrus on mid palette and some black pepper on the finishing palette. Finish - The finish is where this really shines. It is creamy and a little bit viscous and lingers. ”
