“Bought this at Costco. Could have bought another bottle of Casamigos Reposado for the same price. I will not make this mistake again. One might as well take an Anejo Tequila and run it through a Brita Filter. The color and character (assuming it had the latter) are gone.”

“As of this review, I'm in San Jose del Cabo. So the price I paid for this particular bottle of tequila at Los Barriles de Don Malaquias was a bargain. Nonetheless, for blanco snobs, Los Abuelos is muy bueno IMHO. Heavy on the Cooked Agave, some pepper, and fruity acidity to roll over the tongue and finish.”

“This one is peppery. On Herradura's website they recommend trying their tequilas with Sparkling Mineral Water though filtered water will do fine for me, thank you. As with bourbon, water or ice really opens up a premium tequila. Herradura's Reposado is a perfect balance of Cooked Agave, Caramel, Vanilla, and those mysterious vegetal notes. Enjoy.”
