Tequila G4 Blanco Madera (Lot 01)
“another great product from El Pandillo. on the nose I get a burst of agave cedar sawdust pepper hay thyme with a twist of lemon peel. on the palate I get all listed above and more.. dry chiles/cinnamon anise another level of minerality brine. with a oily mouth feel that make my mouth water. the woodsy and mineral blend is beautiful. the finish keeps all the previously mentioned. the roasted agave taste lingers. the chest heat is present (my favorite part is the chest heat and warm exhale) truly a work of art. describing G4 Madera is very difficult to sum up in words.. it's a poetry in a bottle.”

Siete Leguas "Siete Décadas" Blanco
“presentation was beautifully put together. the tube, the bottle and the literature were a nice addition for a quality product. the nose tells you this is going to be an exciting experience. mellow lactic with a burst of rested agave. even tho it's a Blanco, I get a woodsy note and a whole Lotta minerality. on the palate the agave and minerals come thru with an exquisite mouth feel, oily but not too much the appropriate chest heat and the exhale that you expect to clear your nazal passages. this can be tricky since it drinks very pleasant, you can't help but to pour a second glass. this time hit it with the frother after letting it breathe for a few minutes.. pure delight. finish is fresh and briney that lingers for a couple minutes.. I've been told stories of my grand father traveling via bus to the distillery back in the early to mid fifties and taking his own glass jugs to get filled for his personal use. always knew 7 Leguas was quality but they outdid themselves.. now it's a must stop destination on my next trip to Guadalajara. ”

Tequila Ocho Reposado - Widow Jane
“nice light straw hue. on the nose, I get a sweetness of roasted agave and spiciness of barrel. some light ethanol hint of parmesean cheese on the palate, I get an explosion of that sweet roasted agave. butterscotch, caramel, and dried cherries. bourbon notes, the mouth heat is very nice. viscous as it goes down and produces chest warmth. finish elongates. superb when accompanied by a Montecristo media noche. drinks like an añejo. ”
