“Smells better than it tastes. Super dark which makes me wonder if additives are being used to enhance colour and flavor. Leave a long sweet, and slight peppery finish. Tastes a touch artificial. I love the value on 1800 but think the reposado is probably a better choice. Buy other Anjeos (like Espolon) for cheap/entry level Anjeos. It might be what you pay for with Anjeos ….”

“It’s certainly sweeter and oaky, but I kinda like it for an everyday cheap sipping tequila on ice. It is aged longer than most cheap repos, but wonder if they are using additives to impact sweetness, colour and overall flavour. I’ll keep stocking it as I think most uneducated tequila drinkers would probably like this repo compared to a lot of blancos or other repos in this price range.”
