“Not what I was expecting and I liked it a lot. A reposado but not sweet. Someone said “a reposado for blanco lovers” or something similar and that’s a great way to put it. $49 is a fair price and it probably drinks a bit higher than that. It’s a rebuy. It’s a tick better than Cimarron but 40% more expensive which drives down its rating. ”

“It’s too boozy for me but at $66 for anejo I feel like it’s decent value and that saves it’s rating. I get a burn and the finish seems like bourbon. I wouldn’t get a bottle of it but there are probably far worse options out there. ”

“Solid blanco. At $31 I’d rather drink Lalo for a bit more or Cimarron for a bit less. It’s on par with Avion but 25% less. Dolle told me they love the Diamante in Playa but I’ve never grabbed a bottle and the ratings seem worse than the blanco. ”

“I don’t get the hype. Loaded with additives and $145. So many better options out there. It doesn’t taste terrible but I wouldn’t rebuy. ”

“Bret gave me this bottle as a gift for hosting baseball draft. He said he went to Wells and asked what they recommended. It’s maybe the worst I’ve ever had. Smelled so fake, tasted so fake. It’s $60 but I wouldn’t drink it for free. ”

“A lot of talk of its additive free or not. A chilled shot is smooth and this is pretty good on the rocks. At $40 it’s priced appropriately, maybe a few $ high. I’d go $41 for Lalo over this all day 100/100 times. ”

“I don’t think it’s terrible tasting at all but it has additives and is $150. I can think of 100 bottles I’d rather have. Looks pretty but real knows it’s ehhhhhh. ”

“It really is the best of the mass produced additive free options. $26 is beyond amazing value. Probably not a sipper but this can go into any cocktail or with soda. Is it better than 1942 or Clase Azul? No. But at 1/10th of the price the value drives up the rating substantially. ”

“Lalo gets a lot of hate but it’s consistent, easy to drink and goes down smooth. This over a rock is great. At $41 to me it’s excellent value. A tier below the Fortaleza, Cascahuin for sure but it’s crisp. ”

“One of my favorite reposado expressions due to it not being too sweet. I think Cimarron in general is great and you can easily drink this straight or in a cocktail. Tremendous value at $31. ”

“Wow, amazing stuff. I have this just a tick under Fortaleza. At $79 it’s more expensive than Fortaleza but for me this is a tier 1 choice. ”

“I enjoyed this, but there was a slight flavor I didn’t like. At $61 I feel like there are better options out there. It’s probably not a rebuy for me. I’ll try other Don Fulano bottles but the funk in the blanco is not for me. ”

“I am now on my 3rd bottle. At $75 it’s a strong value and my favorite tequila I’ve had so far. Will continue to buy when given the opportunity. ”
