It’s not for me. But a ton of people love it. Tastes hauntingly like IHOP pancakes.

Nose of caramel and pepper Taste of loads of caramel, some vanilla, melon, and little pepper with a weird bitterness Long finish of caramel on the tongue

Too sweeeet for my liking

This EA is thick and has amazing legs, the color is dark amber and quite pretty. Fruit/citrus , vanilla, slight alcohol and leather are present on the nose. Flavor is sweet with citrus, chocolate and vanilla up front, little to no agave, additives shine throughout. Smooth with very sweet lingering velvet finish.

Way too sweet, artificial after taste. Not a fan.

NOM 1477 | Too sweet and a manufactured taste overall. Not natural.

vanilla, oak, chocolate nose

This is so disgustingly sweet I can’t drink it straight. I put some on some vanilla ice cream and it was kinda palatable.

Sugar. That’s the only note. Sugar. It’s way too sweet and it is noticeable right away. Now I understand why less knowledge bartenders are pushing this candy in a bottle. No thank you.

Rich smell

Sweet on the nose, caramel and chocolate notes on the palate, long smooth finish. (Good pairing with dessert.)

I love this very sweet, exceptionally smooth tequila. However, I’m not sure I can tell the difference between this and Adictivo’s normal extra anejo, and I’ve put them against each other.

Wonderful smell but too artificially sweet for me.

Adictivo XA Black ($99 @ Sip Tequila) is aimed at those who prefer overly sweet Tequila. The price.point does not.matxh up with the quality. This is god awful, but the folks at Sip Tequila claim it's one of their top sellers.

Overwhelmingly sweet. Obvious additives.

My favorite.

OVERWHELMED FAKE

  • 25 Rating

I bought it at Costco. tastes like melted brown sugar mixed with water. dong believe reviews here about some "fancy" flavor or taste. it just melted sugar + water , no alcohol at all, its water. impossible to drink. even cheap tequilas like milagro, altos, lunazul, espanita are much much better then this fake ”tequila” for 100$. never buy it again and will tell everyone dont buy it.

Very much on the sweeter side, goes well over ice for slow sipping, overall decent, could be much less sweeter.

This is a sweet one, similar to Clase Azul but thicker and better priced. Do not mix this drink. Drink it neat- room temperature or ice it.
