NOM1414 54 abv Was hoping for more…been loving everything coming out of this distillery. Tequila is clean just not a show stopper like their recent stuff.
Nose: Agave, salt, green olive, minerals, green pepper, and mint. Palate: Agave, full mouth feel, jalapeño, and anise. Finish: Black pepper heat around the gums, nice lingering flavors of agave
Nose: Agave opens, followed closely by a soft lactic creaminess that gives it a rounded, comforting feel. Oak sits in the background, lightly toasted, while warm cinnamon builds gradually. Citrus adds lift, leaning toward orange peel, with cherry bringing a gentle sweetness. There’s a subtle dryness from tea leaves that keeps everything composed. Palate & Mouthfeel: Medium and silky on entry. Agave remains front and center, joined by vanilla cream and bright orange citrus. Oak frames the palate without taking over, while cinnamon shows up in force but stays controlled. Tea notes reappear, adding a slightly tannic edge, with cherry and a touch of salted butter rounding things out and adding depth. Finish: Cinnamon spice and honey linger together, fading slowly with warmth rather than heat. It closes in a way that feels comforting and complete. Final Thoughts: Exceptionally well balanced and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. Everything feels in its place, with no single note pushing too hard. The only real drawback is availability- I just wish this one were easier to find.
tried a small sample at our pnwac gathering at john welch's 12.7.25 Conexiones Siempre Complex. Lots going on. will revisit and update my notes when I receive my botttle
Tequila brands – united through The Gente Buena Foundation’s Good Agave Pledge – announced their commitment to improving the difficult economic and environmental challenges faced by tequila workers in Mexico’s agave plant-producing regions.
Unique blended blanco, has that Siempre finger print all over it. Reminds me a lot of the Muerto release. Complex, citrus, pepper, cooked agave. Great mouth feel, and a nice finish. Great job Doug, Alex and Sergio
