Sampled at Sabor y Cultura Chicago 2026. Another Rosa I surprisingly enjoyed! Wine aging isn’t usually for me, but this was good.

All of these special release never fail to impress. Nose I get a fruit maybe cherry and raspberry with nutmeg and a little cinnamon. Taste cooked agave cinnamon spice and a touch of Carmel. The finish is long oaky with some dry tannic notes. All I can say is wow

Ok this is amazing and special. Nose is cooked agave with a nice oak note. It has a nice citrus note and an earthy botanical note. Taste cooked agave orange peel oaky with a nice pepper with a gin type note that I can’t explain. Finish that gin note with agave pepper and a sweetness that is amazing!

This is a really well balanced Anejo! It’s more on the fruit heavier side than I like but I will happily finish this bottle. The agave is there but the since it’s aged up to 22 months in a series of wine barrels, untoasted French oak barrels, toasted French oak barrels, and cognac casks, the fruit is the main flavor presence to me.
