Blind tasting with AMM: This was a solid, classic blanco with a straightforward and earthy profile that leans into traditional agave characteristics. On the nose, cooked agave comes through clearly, backed by black pepper and a strong vegetal presence. Earthy notes give it a rustic feel, while a touch of citrus adds just enough brightness to keep it balanced. On the palate, the cooked agave remains front and center, supported by black pepper and a vegetal backbone. A distinct bell pepper note adds a green, slightly crisp edge, while citrus lifts the profile. Earthy tones carry through and round everything out nicely. The finish is medium in length, leaving behind a balanced mix of agave, pepper, and light citrus. Overall, this is a well made blanco that sticks to the fundamentals and delivers a clean, enjoyable sipping experience.

Tasted blind. Aroma is lightly vegetal, pear, and green melon. Flavors were pepper, stone fruit and minerals. Finish was nice a nice blend of mint and veg with a great level of spiciness. Lost some points on the price.

Blind tasting via AMM: Aromas of herbs and wet dirt. Flavors follow with herbs, green agave, and jalapeno spice. Very green and earthy overall. Relatively short finish. VERY expensive which tumbles the score. Will have to try again.

Lovely nose on this, very complex. There’s an overarching theme of clay/minerality/dirt on this tequila’s nose. Comes across as rather musty, cactus candy, wildflower, cumin, black pepper, citrus rind, maybe a hint of smoke. On the palate one could fool me into thinking this is a mezcal. There’s jalapeño, green pepper, bell pepper, earthy, celery, mint, black pepper, white pepper, cinnamon, black licorice, some cocoa, and anise. It’s a rugged tequila, one that is rustic, vegetal, and very complex. It has a slightly drying finish; the tannins completely envelope the palate leaving jalapeño & agave to savor.

Another new product that I really enjoyed because of the complexity brought on by the mixing of 2 different production processes. Aroma has smoke, citrus, caramelized agave (which comes off like a vanilla hint), earth, and vegetal notes. Flavor has a lot of cinnamon, and oilve/brine. Mouthfeel is super thick and chewy. I wish the price tag was lower, though. I would love it to be more affordable so it could be accessible to more people. I think more people need to try this because it brings something unique to the tequila community.
