Bits of honey! Sweet nose. Plum, floral, I was worried after such a good nose that the palate would let me down. Well it didn’t! Creamy, slight funk, honey, Great finish and I love this one

Nose: Cooked agave leads with creamy vanilla and a bright lift of fresh lemon zest. Soft stone fruit—plum and apricot—follows, along with a gentle honeyed sweetness from the ex–Sauternes cask and a subtle tobacco undertone. Palate: Agave-forward and well balanced. Smooth vanilla and restrained wine-cask sweetness are complemented by plum, apricot, and a lively lemon peel note that keeps the profile fresh. Light cinnamon and soft oak add structure without overpowering the agave. Finish: Long and elegant with lingering sweet spice, faint tobacco, and fading stone fruit. A final touch of citrus brightness cleanses the palate and invites another sip.

Aroma: This has some uniqueness and familiarity at the same time for being something so different. Agave is still at the forefront, yet a very apparent Wine influence from Sauternes is here. Some of the aromas associated with Sauternes definitely lend themselves here as well. Honey leads the way and is accompanied with stone fruits lije Apricot and Plum. A very Lemon Zest quality is here as well. The French Oak is also extremely present as are scents of Vanilla, Caramel, and Butterscotch. There is also a hint of Leather and Tobacco for good measure. And as this opens up over time, a light Floral note of Honeysuckle introduces itself. Taste: As the gates open Agave ,Honey, and Oak jump to the lead! A sweeter edge of Vanilla and Butterscotch are blending with a nicely Spiced Black Pepper and Sweeter Cinnamon taste. The Lemon Zest from the Aroma continues into the flavor as a nice light sweet bitterness to tone down some of these more foward notes. Stone Fruit also carries over with another nice touch of Apricot and Plum. Finish: The Agave, Honey, and Oak linger for a long time with Black Pepper that lasts even longer! This is a wonderful expression that I feel will only get better with time! I thoroughly enjoyed this from start to finish! AMM--88 Salud!!!

Agave swap Nose: cooked agave, plum, sweet oak Taste: tobacco, plum, vanilla Finish: plum, fruit, oak/ barrel wood, tobacco, creamy and rich mouthfeel Hands down unlike anything else out on the market. This is the most tobacco yet fruity expression I have ever had. A must try!

Tasted in a CTC jarrito. Beautiful amber color in the glass, dark for a reposado. On the nose the baking spices with caramel, cinnamon, vanilla, with dark cherry present. On the palate, very pleasant mouthfeel; with intense baking spices, tropical fruits, caramel. A finish with the dark cherry and caramel, that as you drink more of this, just becomes more intense. This is definitely a treat, a dessert of a tequila that even though you may have to order it online, the experience is worth it.

My favorite Yeyo release. Smooth honey and oak on the nose with a touch of wine cask influence, carrying nicely through the palate. The finish is long and refined. Big fan of this one.

This is easily my favorite Yeyo release. The nose bursts with honey, cognac, and oak, and those rich notes carry beautifully into the body. The finish is long, clean, and unforgettable. A must-try.

So unique. Great mouth, a creamy velvet feeling. Super classic! Has some dryness from the barrels, real good taste, was thinking the nose would be a touch stronger but still some warms notes in there.
