Don Abraham Extra Anejo
“Hard to get past the strong alcohol on the nose. Oak and tar is overwhelming on the tongue. Finished long and nice, but hardly makes up for what you have to go through to get there. ”
More info →“Aromas of burnt agave and butterscotch. Needs a few minutes to aerate in the glass. First whiff was displeasing, but after just a minute or two, it really opened up. Flavors appear clean and crisp on the palate, but also not really complex. No burn, but also nothing develops on the tongue. Clear citrus, vanilla, and slightly salty...but nothing to really write home about. The finish is where this tequila truly shines...long, deep, and bright. But at roughly $120 a bottle, there are much better contenders in the market. Hell...buy two bottle of Fortaleza Blanco, your money will be much better spent. ”
