“Smells like it is going to be spicy. There is a sweet smell but come across spicy. First sip you can taste the spice, after that it is a very nice sweet taste and real nice aftertaste. Some lingering heat in your throat. Good but not great.”

“Agave and a bit of alcohol smell. Kinda spicy. I like it sweeter but not bad for a spicy tequila. Starts slightly sweet but this is a spicy tequila. Finishes a bit harsh. Some might like this but it is not my favorite.”

“Smells like agave with light sweet hints. Nice. Sweet caramel taste, nice and smooth. Just a bit spicy but not bad at all. Spice hits first then mellow into nice sweetness.”

“Very light aroma. Tastes light too, has a light fruity taste and slight peppery after burn but not in a bad way. Smooth as silk, easy to drink, even as a supper this is pretty good.”

“Faint whiskey sent. Has a bit of a whiskey taste as well. A bit spicy not sweet until the finish. Not my favorite or even as good as I had hoped.”

“Extremely smooth. Can’t quite get a handle on the taste. Not bad but not real good. Sort of savory and smokey. Not terrible just not my favorite. So smooth it kinda makes up for lack of smell and sweet taste that I prefer.”

“Smell of alcohol and some light sweet scents. Mostly alcohol, not a good smell. Spicy but not in an alcohol sort of way. Just spice and a slight sweet taste on your lips at the end. Not very good.”

“Light smell of alcohol. Has a sort of sweet smell. Taste is also light at first with a nice sweet middle. The finish is a bit harsh, little spicy and a little alcohol burn. Might be the first time I would consider using an anejo in a margarita or for a shot. For the price it might be worth a try. Could make a very nice margarita. ”

“Very light sweet scent. Smell some alcohol. Very smooth but first flavor I can taste is alcohol. Think unaged whiskey. Really smooth moonshine. There is the slightest sweetness. Lingering burn at the finish but not terrible. Puts hair on your chest so to speak. I doubt I buy this again as I prefer a sweeter less burny flavor. Worth a try though. I say this even though two of my very favorite tequilas are Maestro Dobel anejo and reposado. Easily in my top two brands for sure. Just did not care for this clear like I thought I would.”

“The smell is an unbelievable strong vanilla, like Watkins extract. I love it. Very nice soft vanilla flavor and slight agave. Extremely smooth. I love this one and will always have a bottle on hand. One of my top three favorites.”

“First time I tried it, loved it. Very sweet and extremely smooth. You won’t make “that face” with this tequila, no way. If you like sweet tequila you will love this one. Sort of has a faint black licorice taste which I usually don’t like but not terrible here. Long slow after burn but not in a bad way. Warm all the way down to your belly."”
