“Come on guys a 99, a 100?!? Laughable. So I’m up late one night and the TV is going on in background and I see some infomercial for this brand where they’re trying to attract “investors” for the brand. I didn’t check the app to learn more about them but now that I’ve tasted it I wouldn’t be surprised if the people leaving these high scores are the “founders” or investors of the brand themselves trying to drive up the score As for the tequila, it smells a little too sweet, not unpleasant just unnatural Taste: Definitely gives me the impression that it has additives. A previous reviewer said it reminded them of Casamigos and I feel that is pretty spot on. Finish: Is pretty short, so if you’re not the biggest tequila fan you might enjoy the fact that there is no lingering taste. In the end this is all marketing. They market themselves as a high end premium product (and the bottle design may lend someone to believe it is) but it is anything but that. Just look at the nom and you will see it is made at a distillery that makes many other brands that ultimately are nothing special. In fact many of these other brands are known to have additives, like Cava de Oro, so I’m willing to bet this does as well despite their claim not to.”

“Wow, wtf?!? Am I drinking tequila or Raicilla? Nose: has that cheesy lactic smell just like a Raicilla, with a little green vegetal aroma. A previous reviewer compared this to Cascahuin Tahona and I’d like to say, IMO, that’s not even close. Taste: Taste matches a lot of the smell. More of that classic lactic Raicilla taste, which is not my cup of tea. I’d never tasted a tequila like this and it makes me wonder if they added additives to make the taste unique to trick the an unassuming consumer to think this is what quality should taste like since this is “Reserva de la Familia” Finish: probably lasts a little longer then I’d like. Can’t shake the Raicilla taste. I may just gargle some Jose Cuervo Gold to get this taste out”

“Aroma: The alcohol is a little more prominent then expected. Cooked agave, but overpowered a bit by the alcohol. Taste: definitely tastes better then it smells. Vanilla, sweet cooked agave, caramel, hint of pineapple. Problem here is all these flavors are very muted. Non tequila aficionados may like this a lot because it will be “smooth” but really that’s due to the lack of complexity. Finish: Short. Very short”

“Simple review: Aroma: cooked agave and light alcohol Taste: cooked agave and light alcohol Finish: light, faint cooked agave. Short finish Despite the alcohol smell and taste, it went down really smooth and easy. Was expecting the worst at $22 for a 1L bottle. Pleasently surprised. ”
