“Not even drinkable in a ranch water. The pepper finish leaves a bad aftertaste even when mixed”

“Solid tequila with a great price. Good enough to sip but perfect for mixing. I love their reposado ”

“I stumbled across this tequila and liked it. I felt like it had a little bit of a cinnamon flavor on top of the caramel and vanilla that you find in most anejos. It’s a great sipper and worth the price point for something good and a little different. I will definitely add this to my list. ”

“I’m glad I got this as a gift, because it’s really good. Very smooth and has a lot of flavor for a blanco. ”

“It has a good, smooth citrus flavor for a blanco and at a great price. It can be sipped but I got to be mixed in some ranch waters. I’ll definitely get again and recommend to my friends. ”

“Smooth clean finish with cinnamon and vanilla notes. I would compare to Clase Azul but for less than half the price. Great tequila and a beautiful ceramic bottle. ”

“Im only rating this tequila so high because of the price, it’s a bargain. It starts with a strong, pleasantly sweet aroma, good flavor with a decent finish. ”

“Very disappointed with this tequila for the price. If it were $60 I would’ve rated it much higher. The smell is very heavy on syrup. The flavor is about the same. ”

“This is more of an old school/purist style of tequila than it is a modern/sweet anejo. Instead of being heavy on the sweet caramel or vanilla flavors it has more pepper and agave but not so strong that it isn’t smooth or undrinkable. It’s a very good anejo at a great price. ”

“It was just ok for me, nothing special for $40. Bland flavors, hard to pick up much of anything. I tried it for it’s good reviews and the bottle reminded me of some tequila I tried when I was in Cozumel “Regalo de Dios”. ”

“This is a simple yet good tequila. It’s not overly sweet and has vanilla and caramel flavors but it’s lacking complexity. It still gets the job done for the price. ”

“Solid tequila with great flavor. I love how it’s not the basic anejo with just caramel or vanilla flavors, the hint of chocolate and raisins is a nice touch. This one will stay in my rotation. ”

“Pretty good for a blanco. It’s creamy and very smooth with a little citrus. I can’t wait to try their reposado and anejos. I’m sure after a good barrel aging, this will make a great tequila. ”

“Great tequila for a great price. Has a lot of flavor but pretty sweet. I taste chocolate, caramel, vanilla, butter, oak and cream. This is a great desert tequila. ”

“I love this reposado. It’s not as sweet as the anejo, which makes it better in my opinion. This is a great reposado with a good vanilla and butter finish. ”

“Oak and agave then pepper before any caramel or vanilla. This is very light on the color, more like a reposado. Just ok for me, lacking flavor to bring me back. Surprised by the high reviews, not one of my favorites. ”

“Dry peppery finish with a bland taste. Between a good tequila and a mixer, but too expensive to mix. ”

“I’ve always wanted to try all the Codigo’s and I got this as a Christmas present and it’s pretty good. I was expecting some rosé flavor but I don’t notice any, but I’m also not a wine drinker. I love George Strait and this is pretty good, but too pricey for me. I didn’t notice much floral or citrus like the profile says but there is some vanilla with a smooth dry finish. If you like country music and tequila I feel like you have to try one of these. Next on my list is the double barrel anejo (I just have to save up and probably drink it while I’m out of town so the wife doesn’t know I spent that kind of money on a bottle of tequila). ”

“This is one my favorite tequilas. Great flavor and very smooth. I wish it was cheaper, but I could see it costing $120 and I would pay that. ”

“This was too expensive at $60 for this bottle. This tequila isn’t awful but it’s not as smooth or flavorful as I like nor for the price range. At first I hated it, but then it grew on me a little. Then I drank a good tequila and realized what I was missing. ”

“At first I felt like the spice overwhelms the light flavors that it has, but it grew on me. Not very complex, just simple caramel and vanilla flavors. It’s probably a little overpriced. ”
