El Tequileño Platino Blanco
“Did not like it much. Tastes artificial. I found strange all the good notes that this has got in the app, probably they changed recipe. I was tasting it at the kitchen table and my wife asked about the “oil paint smell” when she was passing by , lol. Although she is not much into tequila she usually loves the smell, this time it was not the case and I concur. I think it has to do with the autoclave process. It reminded me of mainstream cheap tequilas like cuervo or antiguo blanco.”

“Sweet vanilla aromas, very sweet and floral. Reminded me at times to anise liquor. Did not taste like tequila. Overall did not like it.”

Ocho Tequila Plata
“Peppery but soft. Lots of agave and mint. Smell is a lot softer than in other tequilas, but still pleasant. I loved it. Great tequila to introduce anyone to Blancos. ”

Jose Cuervo Platino
“I believe this is an underrated Tequila just for being Jose Cuervo, but this is not the usual Jose Cuervo that you drink in cheap all-inclusive resorts. This is a very well rounded beverage. Deep amazing smell of agave (might be signal of very good quality plants used in this tequila) , some cheese notes (comparable to those in a Cascahuín Tahona), pepper both in the smell and the taste with bit of a nice spicy feeling . Very warm and solid finish with agave still present and some mint. On top of it the bottle and box are gorgeous. Definitely a good quality tequila. You get what you pay for (or more). ”

Cascahuín Tahona Blanco
“Cheesy, but pleasant. Very different to any other tequila I have had without losing its essence. Amazing smell.”

Don Julio Añejo 70th Anniv.
“Too smooth… sweet… it reminds me of tequila flavored ice cream. Possibly due to the vanilla smells and flavor. Not my favorite tequila but it should be good for people not used to Tequila. ”
