“On the nose as the bottle was opened , a really nice aroma but scents were not detectable except for the cooked Agave. As it sat and opened up Butterscotch with a hint of Caramel and soft pepper coming thru. Tasting very smooth a rich flavor no bite and a nice lasting finish. Agave both raw and cooked coming thru again with a pepper follow. I like it very much and the smooth finish plus it was a gift from my Wife this is a good one… And I love the Bottle!!!!”

“I love it!! Opening the bottle on the nose, the aroma is grand although it is a bit undescribable in a pleasant way. I do as it lingers get notes of warm vanilla a hint of pepper just enough to let you know it’s there. Tasting very very smooth no burn but let’s you know you are drinking alcohol ( again in a very good way)! It has a nice long finish. Back to the taste cooked agave with a lil more of a charcoal or grilled sensation. Peppery but not much and that vanilla is back. That wood barrel is there but not overwhelming . This is very flavorful bottle!! I greatly enjoy it!!!”

“Well I was expecting to be WOWED by this Tequila, will definitely come back to it after the bottle has been opened. Aroma -Loved the agave both cooked and raw scents, black pepper definitely hit the nostrils in a 2nd tier of smells followed with a vanilla and citrus fragrance not much but it’s there. Taste - Now here was were I was expecting this horse to run, but I was left a bit underwhelmed. Creamy with a sharp peppery bite immediately then begins to settle down agave & oily feeling a light citrus but not much more to it for me. Finish - Acts 1 & 3 for me, the finish was nice lingering for a good minute and half not real peppery but just a nice alcoholic finish. The finish was decent but just can’t make up for the taste.”

“I’m gonna start at the end first. The finish is amazing Ultra smooth with a very nice velvety long finish, with a soft black pepper bite right at the end. Opening the bottle I personally didn’t get a rush of aroma but agave and fruity notes. I’ve opened more aromatic bottles , not to say this was bad i feel it was a perfect balance.”

“Smoooooooth: on the nose in the bottle I get hints of citrus (lemon , lime maybe grapefruit) Caramel, vanilla notes and some spice with a deep alcohol follow. In the glass the citrus and vanilla hits the nose love the aroma. On to the taste very smooth a good oily balance with a nice long finish a lil bit of spice and cutting thru the creamy vanilla caramel flavor!! Complex taste This is a good one!! Get it if you can”

“This will always be a favorite of mine because a friend gave me a bottle, so there is that. On the nose in the bottle or poured, black pepper and barrel notes immediately hits the nostrils. Very very light floral arrangement missing the agave and the alcohol takes over. Taste it has a spicy bite, drinks easy with a lingering pepper taste. It has an average flavor but will really depend on your taste buds if this one is for you. That said for sentimental reasons I will always keep a bottle.”

“This is “THAT ONE” smooth going down. Velvety taste no bite. On the nose agave raw and cooked with a woodsy & citrus very light vanilla scent almost not even noticed. Flavor well this Respo is in its Happy Place and puts the taster in a Happy Place. Cooked Agave , citrus very light pepper and vanilla but with a light wood taste. Again this is one to keep on hand!”
