Pasote Extra Añejo
“Older bottle distilled at NOM 1579. Sweet nose with some grassy, floral notes. On the palate sweet but not cloying. Finish slightly bitter and acidic. ”
More info →“On the nose an agave and citrus slap in the face followed by pepper. The palate is completely different. Buttery, viscous, vanilla and mouth coating, agave much less than on the nose. Warm, lingering finish that coats the throat. ”
More info →“Tasted this side by side with the 2018. The 2020 is the best blanco I’ve had. What few roughly edges exist in the 2018 are gone. Grassy and herbaceous on the nose. Palate is sweet and luscious, coating the mouth.Heat is very mild. Fills the mouth like a warm hug. The finish is long and mellow. Incredibly balanced and drinkable. ”

Clase Azul Gold
“Not as sweet as some Clase Azul products, more enjoyable, some barrel notes but the price is prohibitive. Many better pours for a fraction of the price. ”

Volans 7 Year Extra Añejo
“Barrel notes and cooked agave on the nose. Vanilla and caramel on the palate. Coats the mouth well and some mild heat on the back of the palate. Very long warm finish. Had this right after Suerte XA. Much less bright on the nose and more barrel notes. Perhaps the French Oak shining through. ”
More info →“Delicious XA. Retains grassy, herbal agave notes particularly on the nose which is bright and boozy. On the palate vanilla and barrel notes dominate with a mouth coating viscosity. Finish is warm, very pleasant and lingering. ”
More info →“I rate this based on the taste and experience. It is not really recognizable as tequila. But it is delicious. The barrel notes and wine finish give this a heavenly taste unlike anything I’ve had except the Maestro Dobel 50th Anniversary Silver Oak XA. To a purist it’s nothing they would enjoy. Guess I’m not a purist. ”
More info →“Nose is nice but gives little hint of what’s to come. Nice bright agave on the front of the mouth with a welcome burn mid palate and a nice finish. Floral and citrus notes. Mellow for 110 proof. ”
