Very nice high proof reposado. All the right flavors. Oak, cinnamon, agave, citrus, pepper, minerals. Slight alcohol punch on the nose and finish. Enjoyable. Sabor y Cultura 2026 Chicago.
Nose: Bright, agave, citrusy, very clean Palate: Agave is the first thing you taste, sweet with a hint of barrel, hot at the end. Finish: Long finish sweet at first but a bit bitter at the end.
Nose: Cooked agave, fruit (banana and citrus), butter, black pepper, and minerals. Palate: Cooked agave, citrus, black pepper spice, fruity notes, buttery, clean minerals and some barrel spice. Finish: Medium with roasted agave, citrus, pepper, mineral finish. Overall: Excellent high proof repo. I love a good high proof repo and this easily sippable and complex. Solid bottle from 1414.
This is a pretty good Reposado HP. The nose has a nice agave aroma with some light fruit and oak which I like. The pallet is where i love, you get the agave punch from the 47% abv but with some very light barrel notes like oak, fruit, caramel and spices. This has the 1414 formula written over it, nothing to complex but enjoyable. Sample provided by Keith Bogart/Agave Swappers/Cultura 100
Tasted from Sample Sent by Keith Bogart in High Proof CTC Glass. Aroma: off the bat, Rich Cooked Agave, followed by Vanilla, Oak, and Cinnamon. As it sits in the glass opening up a nice light Curing Tobacco note enters the picture. An Herbal and light Mint also enter the fold. Citrus and Fruits become a part along with a touch of Hay Bales. Taste: Agave and Very Identifiable Vanilla start this off. Definitely barrel influence from the Oak and not manufactured from additives. Caramel and Spicy Cinnamon let you know there's a sweet heat to this higher proof. The Oak is mild, which is a nice surprise. A touch of Citrus Peel mixes with a punch of Herbs and Mint. And there's a sweet Fruit finesse that hangs around. Finish: Very Nice Sweet/Spicy Agave and Vanilla ride
Nice bright agave nose. Agave is front and center here with barrel taking a backseat. Palate has some warmth to it and a lingering finish is nice. Getting some vegetal on the palate. This is pretty good. Sample Provided by Agave Swappers for Review
Nose: Vanilla and caramel lead with cooked agave and that classic 1414 nose behind, but the sweetness is strong! Pallet: Cooked agave leads, vanilla, much more 1414 flavors, minerality, some grass Overall: Is it complex, not necessarily, but it’s DELICIOUS. It’s the new wave of repos that have me love reposados so much. Cooked agave leads heavily, barrel notes follow without heavy oak. It’s the real deal!
Cultura 100 Repo hp Sample from Matt Cavanaugh Agave Swappers from the brand owner: rested 3 months in American Oak, just enough time to kiss the barrel but keep the agave as the focus. Our profile pushes out a lot of citrus which fights with the wood over time. you’ll see Cultura staying lower in aging time for that reason - like an Anejo may be 12 months on the nose to keep it agave forward as possible. my tasting notes: Sweet agave cinnamon earthy some anise and light barrel notes. Really enjoying this. Way too easy to sip, and its 47 abv!
Would like to revisit… sample pour
Another nice Tequila from Cultura 100 from NOM 1414. Sweet nose of agave, lightly toasted sugar. Bubble gum. This has a similar nose to the blanco. I like that the barrel stays mostly out of the way. Nice young repo. The taste is sweet agave, earthy, light sugar and cinnamon. Finish is nice. Another great offering.
1414 right away, nice agave, cotton candy, bubblegum, sugar sweet, Pallet is same sweet spicy agave, juicy, very juicy like bubble gum, big league chew, nice notes
Great sip with lots of vanilla and caramel notes coming from the barrel.
Cooked agave, crisp citrus, and earthy vegetal notes. On the palate rich cooked agave, warm baking spice, vegetal undertones, and a sharp pepper finish. Big thanks to Agave Swappers and Keith Bogart for the sample!
Nose: just a touch of barrel influence, some spicy gingerbread, candied apple Palette: bright, agave, punchy, gingerbread, well balanced, alcohol but richness, like you squeeze lemon juice on apple slices and then caramelize them. Finish: lingers long, nice and pleasant, nothing off putting Overall: really nice expression, creamy, rich, a touch of barrel, pepper, but really nice
Sample provided from brand owner through Agave Swappers giveaway. Easy-drinking high proof reposado. Very good value considering the prices of other bottles in the same category. Not much barrel influence, as seen in the color and in the taste, which is welcomed. Full of agave sweetness!
Received as a sample from Agave Swappers so I am setting value at 5/10. Good on the nose with a little bit of ethanol, but not too bad. Flavor is amazing. Finish is almost perfect. There's a little kick to let you know it's high proof but that's about it. Good Agave sweetness on the finish. Very good repo. 92/100
it's good but 43% Repo is better. more flavor in that one and I actually prefer HP REPOS. Both good though
by far my favorite expression from Cultura 100 so far. buttery, caramel agave goodness. very well balanced. nice viscosity. thanks to Keith Bogart for the sample.
Sample from Agave Swappers and Keith Bogart Nose: Bright, cooked agave, citrus, minerality and a hint of oak. Palate: Cooked agave, pepper, buttery citrus and a hint of oak. Nice oily mouthfeel. Finish: Medium long with agave, citrus, and minerality. Overall: A very nice high proof Reposado from 1414
Nose: Vibrant and agave forward with bright citrus. Sweet vanilla and caramel lead into cooked agave, banana, and cinnamon, grounded by black pepper and minerals. Palate: Sweet roasted agave is the focus here. The 47% ABV provides a pleasant warmth that carries buttery citrus, anise, and vegetal grassiness. Subtle barrel influence offers light oak and spice while keeping the spirit crisp and bright. Finish: Medium and lingering with roasted agave, citrus, and a refined mineral snap. Overall: An exceptional high proof reposado from NOM 1414 that balances power with drinkability. By resting only three months in American Oak, it maintains a crisp profile that favors agave over heavy wood. It is easy to sip for its proof, delicious, and the real deal. Sample provided by agave swappers. Vanilla, caramel, and light oak, this one is excellent. Will be adding this one to my collection.
A little funk, and agave and citrus. Clean finish
Really impressive pour. Nose: Bright citrus, fruit, plenty of cooked agave, and a nice cinnamon sweetness. Palate: Dessert-like from the first sip. Cinnamon, sweet agave, and creamy notes that reminded me of horchata. Very balanced and easy to sip for the proof. Definitely one I would revisit. Sample provided by Agave Swappers and Keith Bogart.
I tried all of their expressions, and I have to say that this is my favorite of them all. I love the natural sweetness and the balance of the agave cooked, cinnamon, and baking spice. Overall, I really enjoyed this bottle. I’m gonna have to invest in keeping one in stock. Sample via Agave Swappers

Sampled at Sabor y Cultura Chicago 2026. Now we’re talking! The high proof works much better than the lower proof for me.
