“Wow does this expression deliver on layer after layer of flavor. On the Nose you get honey, Vanilla, a tea like note with just enough of that cooked agave to let you know its still tequila. On the palate as soon as it hits your tongue you get a spicy honey, Vanilla, baking spices along with a tea note that just rounds out the flavor profile. The cooked Agave is subtle yet still there. I'm going to enjoy this one slow because the flavors stick with you for quite awhile. sit back and enjoy the ride when you buy this ”

“On the Nose fresh pop I get cooked agave, a herbal note along with minerality. On the palate I get roasted agave, cinnamon, citrus and a fruit note. Finish is oily and coats the tongue very nice. 90 proof is a perfect proof point for this tequila. I came back to this a day later and wow has it opened up that sweet cooked agave is front and center . ”

“On the glass which is typical of anything coming out of NOM 1414 LL it coats the glass very nice with extremely slow tears running down. On the Nose I get Vanilla, honey, and I'm guessing some notes from that stout including a little baking spice and a little cinnamon. on the palate I get Vanilla, Cinnamon, Honey and just a little bitterness but man does it coat the tongue. The cooked Agave is very little if any but that is not a downfall. I really enjoy this pour and I'm not a huge Stout fan. ”

“With my eyes on the glass I notice this tequila coats the glass relatively good with slow running tears. On the Nose I get cooked agave followed by lime zest along with a funk I just can't put my finger on Not a bad funk but its ever so slight. On the palate Cooked Agave and lime zest are fighting each other to see which stands out more followed by a white pepper note. All in all one of the better if not the best out of NOM 1438 in my opinion. would I make this a every day sipper for me yes/ no . Yes on the price no on the fact its not available in my State but it would go great in a cocktail and I would not turn down a pour if offered.”

“This tequila coats the glass very nice with slow running tears On the Nose I get the minerality that is consistent with where it was made with a touch of fruit note. The cooked Agave is not strong but you can tell its there. On the palate I get cooked agave followed by minerality, a fruit note that I can't quite put my finger on along with a minty note that coats your tongue nicely. I lowered my score just a touch because I noticed the price varied anywhere from 35 to 75 I paid 69. But I would definitely buy this bottle again. ”

“On the palate I get sweet cooked agave followed by the same grassy notes I get from the regular Blanco followed by a grapefruit citrus note. A little Anise with just a touch of mint. This drinks well above its price point IMO. ”

“My first taste of this was at a bar in Guadalajara Mexico at 38ABV With my eyes I noticed this coated the glass for awhile with slow running tears coming down the glass. On nose Sweet cooked agave, Vanilla and just a little Caramel On the palate this had enough of the cooked Agave still shining through with notes of Vanilla, Caramel, baking spices and just a little citrus A very approachable Anejo its not over oaked just enough that the cooked Agave is still present.”

“Very light for a Anejo the cooked Agave still is very present in this. With the price point and light barrel influence this could be a Anejo that people who prefer Blancos could easily sip. ”

“On the Nose seems very light I do get cooked agave with a little funk showing up. On the palate Cooked agave Right away front and center followed by Cinnamon, black pepper with just a touch of that funkiness that was present on the nose. Take your time on this one and enjoy Batch 2 ”

“This is a great mixer for a coffee lover. But be careful as it is a sugar bomb. For the price of upper 20s its a staple at our house for mixing with Irish cream liquor. ”

“A huge surprise for me from the regular Blanco. A agave bomb right in your face followed by a creamy texture along with citrus notes and a little fruity tones as well. This is just oily enough where the flavor stays consistent for awhile on on your tongue. Perfect proof point I let it rest for about 10 minutes in glass before enjoying.... Perfect ”

“Long lasting tears running down the glass very oily texture on the glass on the Nose Straight cooked Agave right in your face along with some herbal notes and just a touch of funk. On the palate Sweet cooked Agave right away followed by a minty note. black pepper and a green herbal note that is very inviting. This could be highly crushable very easy even with the higher proof ”

“With the eyes this tequila coats the glass very nice with tears running down very slow indicating a nice oily finish. On the Nose a little more vanilla and oak from more time in the barrel with cooked agave still present. on the palate I like the fact that the cooked Agave is still there even though its a Anejo. Followed by Vanilla, baking spices and a little caramel with a little citrus as well. The finish is long and coats your tongue very nice.”

“With the eyes you can see how this tequila coats the glass with slow tears running down indicating nice oily finish. On the nose Cooked agave upfront with just a touch of vanilla and citrus but still doesn't overpower the cooked Agave on the palate I love the way its lightly aged so the cooked Agave still shines with just a kiss of vanilla and caramel with the oily finish the flavor coats your whole mouth.”
